I wanted to get 18x8 Enkie and mount 245's. Planning to go with Tein Flex for coilovers. no offset. Using only stock calipers which shouldn't require offset.(Correct me here if I'm wrong.)

I've been told that if I go to a 8x18 rim and mount a 245 width tire on them that I'll get tire rub on the fenders and will have to roll the fenders. True? Also, the car will be approx. 1" lower than stock when these are mounted.
