Hey ClimberD, if you have the time and are knowledgeable about 4EAT's I have a question about a problem my neice is haveing with her 98LGT.

The 4EAT won't shift out of first into higher gears, even after warming up and driving it around. It engages first and reverse positively, reverse more firmly and quickly.

After a partial fluid change and a fresh filter it worked properly for two days and then refused to shift again.

Any ideas that don't require large amounts of $$? The rest of the car is solid and we'd hate to junk it.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
