  1. Looks like fun! Hope to see it in Eugene and/or Portland!
  2. While I agree about cheap coilovers being bad for a DD car, I don't know where you are coming up with the idea that they can't withstand rain or cold. Not calling you out because I can't prove otherwise, but I also have seen that claim made a few times on this forum with no backing. I bought RCE Tarmac coilovers used with 20k miles on them and they have the slightest bit of surface rust but they handle just great and were previously a DD setup. I plan on having them rebuilt of course when they are due.. but as far as a great DD solution, I love them. The helper springs really allow for a smooth ride as far as bumps and cracks, but they really come alive when I get into some tougher cornering situations. I plan to autocross this summer and we will see then how they really perform. But since you're posting about not taking what people say on this forum for fact, I am wondering if you have any factual info about coilovers not enduring weather because I would be interested to see about that.
  3. I'm way thrown off. I just did this and it seems to have turned off the passenger side as well. Now I'm paranoid I screwed something up hah. Passenger airbag light and passenger seat belt light by the map lights still function. Also the open door chime is disabled as well, but the on dash light still functions... The key in the ignition chime still works as well.. Did I hit the jackpot? I have an OEM under seat sub if that changes anything..
  4. Slightly more poke and tire stretch than I'd want to run but still a beautiful stance. I was so distracted by the stance I just now noticed you're N/A..
  5. What wheels are those? I'd be interested in shot from the rear or front down the side of the car that shows the fitment better, if you have one by chance. Looks really good in my opinion.

  7. Scimmed through all 8 pages and didn't see an answer, is that possible with a macbook?
  8. So you're the other OBP LGT in Tigard... Kidding. I've seen you a few times, my Location says Portland but I'm Tigard too. Think I've seen you a few times in King City. Sorry to be off topic everyone.. lol
  9. Understandable. Well can't wait to see how she looks in the future!
  10. Funny how I cannot stand my neightbors Sky Blue 2.5i, yet Akuma's looks good to me. Would like to see it with a blacked out grille, cleared/painted headlights, and tint. Any such plans for her Akuma? I love fifth gens with those mods.. Like ikonosin's car. (Post 3 http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-satin-pearl-white-thread-2010-153517.html?t=153517)
  11. Thats what I expected to hear. my struts seem fine, ill have to confirm theyre factory, not oem replacements, I just got the car a few months ago. Thanks for the help.
  12. I've read earlier in the thread that people have had success with Eibach's and factory struts, I think someone said the same for Rallitek, but I've also read that pairing aftermarket springs with factory struts causes the struts to go out in months. With 88k miles on my car is that something I should worry about, or is only for those who slam their rides? I just want less wheel gap and body roll and to still have a fairly comfortable daily driver. Opinions/advice?
