I acquired one of those back in 1993, was an 87. At the time I also had an 87 DL wagon which was like every other car out there, but getting into the XT was like climbing into the space shuttle, digital gauges and buttons everywhere. Unfortunately the original owners nearly destroyed it with a near complete lack of maintinance, the engine had all the classic early turbo issues, the air bags would slowly deflate causing the pump to stay on, and leaky door seals caused the electronics to get funky, but it was still a treat to play with. Fond memories of tearing around the town racing 911 turbos and Talon TSi's, then waiting on the side of the road for 30 minutes for the engine to cool down.
