I was the victim of these very same symptoms and had the manifold o-rings replaced with the OEM parts specified in the first post of this thread. No more rough idle on cold days! Appreciate the post.

Had the same problem... I couldn't see anything wrong with the existing soldering points, but touched them all up anyway. Add me to the list of thankful folks... worked like a charm!
