  1. Thanks Malvic! I read through the TSB and I do have a CEL a blinking cruise and sport mode and I only get Code P0600. I had the e-brake light and the abs light come on a few times but then shut off. I tried to reset the codes with a generic OBD2 scanner, didn't work. I disconnected teh battery a couple times. No luck. Finally i opened the panel under the steering wheel and i tried to push all the connectors tight. Then all the codes and lights went off. I'm assuming that one of these harnesses under there is faulty, but i'm curious how to fix it or diagnose which harness it is. I hope I don't have to open up the panel every couple of weeks and jingle the harnesses... Thanks again for the research though!!
  2. I'm looking for the TSB by the number "07.01.06" something to do with wiring repair. I guess it solves my P0600 code issue. I wish TheL7 was still around. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys (and gals)
  3. Hi Malvic,

I hope you're still around. I know its been a while but do you know where i could find the service Bulletin 07.01.06 about the wire harness?

    www.theL7.com is no longer around.

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated!!

I'm throwing CEL warnings, blinking cruise all over the place and the code was P0600.

Thanks again for any help you can offer.

  4. Whoops! I feel the shame. Deleted.
  5. Sorry to revive an old thread but you have already done exactly what i want to do with your GPS. I was actually planning on tapping into my existing cig lighter in the console and then routing it to the left of my steering wheel but after reading your thread i guess that sounds pretty stupid. I haven't even opened my fuse door yet, but i was wondering what you used for a ground. It might be obvious once get in there, but like you, i want to plan everything before i get started.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  6. Not sure what the process is for bringing from Canada to the states. Probably varies from state to state. I did it the other way around. Brought it from the US to here in Canada. It might be worth while to sell the car here in Canada then go to the states and buy a new car for less money. Price it out and see if it is even worth the hassle. FYI, after shipping, inspections, taxes, jumping through hoops etc. I saved over $12,000 by buying in the US.
  7. Sorry I didn't read the entire 8 pages of this thread. Delete this if it is already there. I think the retro-fit kit is a free factory recall item. Also, if you get them to send you the recall memo, i think it has instructions on how to get the filter in and out. Although, dimil's pictures are much nicer. I'm stuck on step 13 on how to get the glovebox clips out. I'm dumb. If i'm just repeating someone, feel free to delete this.
  8. I didn't see this one during my skimming, but I got a bill for $0 during warranty work saying that they reset my TPMS light. Not sure if this should be added to this thread but its Tire Pressure Monitoring System… I think. All the US cars have it but only the Spec B in Canada, from what I hear.
