  1. I was trying to figure out why I liked this picture so much then it hit me. This one is from 2 years go. http://i1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii583/lgtftw/e7e8a8be-4155-4b46-ac01-c64598e617c1.jpg
  2. Never mind the cars, you have a beautiful home.
  3. Update on the Megan Stiff suspension....Gborja888 was right. The stiff was mainly due to the cold. Two days ago it was almost 70 and the ride was smooth. Still, would like softer but will not spend $3k on coils and don't want do bags. I just like my cars low.
  4. Took the family out yesterday, I think winter is going away for good now.
  5. I'm thinking about picking the toe arm up, is anyone else running the Megan? Update: Rear is on 6 from softest, front is 7 from softest. Still thinking about getting the springs to see if changes anything. You guys have tricks on reducing coil binding? Last year I put some thrust needle bearings and washers between the spring and the perches. While this worked, it still does it once in a while. I think I might remove the noise prevention cushions.
  6. I was actually about to walk out to the garage to bring them down to 7 to see how they'll feel tomorrow.
  7. Captain’s blog, 17th day of the second month. I went from the softest setting to 10 clicks from said setting. The suspension was indeed much stiffer, it seems as if the tires are absorbing more of the impact from the road. Knowing that my coilovers are cheap, I decided to STFU and put up with it until it gets warmer. My plan is to order the 5kg/mm spring, put it in the rear coilovers and put the 6kg/mm springs from the rear to the front thus reducing my spring rate by 1kg/mm all the way around. I know it may sound silly to some but it seems that getting a softer spring will reduce some of the harshness of the ride, don’t know why, it just feels that’s the way to go.
  8. Thanks for clearing that up. Like I mentioned earlier, I went with the Megan coilovers and I'm complaining now that it's winter. Todays high was 17f, so it's pretty cold out. I went ahead and adjusted everything to 10 clicks from the softest setting and see if that helps.
  9. I’ll try that on my way home. If it doesn’t work, I’m going to go ahead and order the 5k springs for the back and put the 6k in the front. Thanks guys
  10. Maybe bouncy is not a good way to describe it. Maybe it's just stiffness. It's not bouncy like my Civic in 1999, it's just more NVH than I want.
  11. I’m looking to reduce some of the bounciness of the car, I have the struts at the soften setting but still a little more harsh than I want nowadays. I’m looking into putting these on as well. Not sure what happened but this mod bug is biting again. http://www.meganracing.com/product_detail.asp?prodid=1375&catid=97
  12. This had to have been answered at some point but I couldn’t find anything on a quick search due to all the variation in search terms but anywho…. Has anyone installed or is currently running coilovers ( I have Megan) with 6F& 5R spring rates? I’m currently running 7F & 6R but would like to go softer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gracias!
  13. I see someone brought their lic. plate back from Oki?
