  1. After 4 years and 50k miles, it's time to replace the tranny, front and rear differential fluid again. Will be going with all Royal Purple fluids.
  2. I bought the gates timing belt kit with waterpump on ebay...later.
  3. I'm looking to buy a timing belt kit for my 05 LGT, I saw that there timing belts with 328 teeths and 281 teeths. So which is the correct one for my car? Is this the right one... http://www.ebay.com/itm/GATES-Timing-Belt-Water-Pump-Kit-Subaru-Legacy-Outback-Forester-Impreza-WRX-STi-/380618130651?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2005%7CMake%3ASubaru%7CModel%3ALegacy%7CSubmodel%3AGT&hash=item589e9bc4db&vxp=mtr
  4. Is it recommended to replace the tranny filter? I'm about to perform a drain/fill twice on my subaru. I bought 12 quarts of Royal Purple tranny fluid and plan to do it this weekend.
  5. I felt a slight jerk on my tranny a while back. I bought the amsoil atf and did a drain/fill twice. After the first time, I drove the car for about 10 miles and then repeat it the second time. The tranny has been running strong and better since. I flush the front and rear differential with royal purple at the same time as well.
  6. I was able to run hid on my drl and low beam. But I just went ahead and disconnected my drl plug today. So hopefully my hid will last longer.
  7. Ok...just completed the tranny flush on a 5eat Gt Limited. It required 4 quarts for a drain and fill. I did drain it twice, so I bought 8 quarts of the amsoil atf stuff. It required a 8mm hex bit to remove the drain bolt...it was an easy task to complete. The tranny shifts flawless now.
  8. There's three autoparts stores within a 1.5 miles from me that sells the ngk spark plugs. (Autozone, Advance auto and Oreily's) I purchased the set for $29 out the door, which was also the sale price.
  9. Me and my cousin just changed my spark splugs today. It wasn't as complicated as we thought it to be. It took about 1.5 hrs or less. Just got our hands pretty dirty. I replaced with the ngk irdium IX...part #6619 from Autozone. My car has 70k miles, but the old ngk spark plugs still looked pretty good and could go for another 30k miles. But, I just wanted to get it done and not have to worry about it later on.
  10. I found this awhile back and lost the website...thanks for posting this again.
  11. I'm definitely planning on using Gates belts as well. My uncle who is a mechanic at subaru dealer recommends me to use Gates, if I don't go with oem belt.
  12. Wow, this website does have some really nice aftermarket bulbs. I might just buy me a set someday.
