  1. *sigh* dude 1: "What the HELL is that? Some kind of impala rocket?" dude 2: "I don't think we would have caught this one..." ... said the cops to each other while pulling me over last night. Thankfully I wasn't speeding, but arguably qualified as "unnecessary acceleration". No ticket.
  2. "What seriously? It's not for sale? Can you order one? ... What do you mean it won't be nearly the same?" Said by a patron at the dealership after it had been pulled around after service.
  3. Driveline shock happens when you sidestep the clutch. This damper is designed to prevent driveline shock. So... It's not that it "slows" anything btw. It just nails down the engagement point.
  4. I too, have seen some SERIOUS right rear camber even though the hunter rack says it's bang on with the left rear. I had belts showing on my summers when I went to go swap them this week. That's what I get for having Discount Tire do that for me (which they often do for free btw).
  5. You have no idea how close to reality my daily life is to that movie.
  6. I'm a little slow sometimes (including at the track). "How to do things" and "things you should learn about how to do things" pretty much mean the same thing to me.
  7. Same "long term effects" as having a cable operated clutch. 1:1 input to response. For better or worse. Everyone makes mistakes eventually. So... At least you'll get solid feedback about it.
  8. You have to slip the clutch. It takes some practice to get the feel right. Practice trying to get the car moving from a dead stop without using throttle. Launching is pretty much the same motions/phases, just much quicker, and obviously with a hoof-full of throttle. Yes.
  9. I was informed by TMF at a local meet last night that there are adapter brackets available for the 5th gen to solve fitment issues. Heads up.
  10. God damnit, again? I had like four separate instances of reading through stuff yesterday and not finding the one thing I was looking for, even though that's explicitly why I was reading it. rawr!
  11. What was the story with Higgins' hood popping up?
  12. Our graco survived me operating it. That should be a marketing campaign all by itself.
  13. Yes, yes it does... That's one of several "compelling clinical reasons". I understand the social implications of such a claim and do not suggest the diagnosis lightly.
