I have the same battery problem as well! Even with a new Optima it always acts partially discharged. Dealer no help so far; says everything checks out fine, but every time I put the charger on it, it takes three hours to come up to full! Have resorted to keeping a trickle charger on it in the garage. What controls how much to charge the battery? Perhaps that is the problem?
