  1. Hi there

I found your name on the forums as a reputable source of advice on tuning.

I searched but can't find a reasonable answer to my problem: the dreaded lack of cruise control with stage 1.

I recently bought a used AP v1 for my 05 LGT 5MT wagon.

As it turns out the AP said it was for 06 model on the back but since I had the ECU replaced a couple of times in 06/07 for the cooling fan problem I thought I would try it out. No problem with Cobb's most recent maps and the reflash to stage1, but now the cruise control doesn't work.

I don't have a laptop so can't go the open source route and try and clear the codes that way.

I'm looking for advice on how to fix this simply. Options appear to include:

    Uninstall AP to stage0.

Check for CEL's on the AP and reset the ECU to base map.

    NPS modification.

Unmarry the AP and see if dealer has an ECU reflash for cruise control problem.

    Get AP v2.

Any advice would be very appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Peter

  2. I just had the two relays and ECU replaced for the second time. The first repair was done in 05 before the recall campaign - I wonder if the replacement parts were upgraded since my first repair was done.
  3. mine has a similar problem: seems sticky and just about ready to die will ask for warranty replacement next service
  4. i just noticed this on my first long road trip the cabin is definitely cooler at hwy speeds for the same temp setting than when the system first gets going eg. around town the solution for me was to turn the temp setting up on the highway
  5. same thing on my LGT today. turned the car off and back on and everything is fine.
