  1. I watched a video on royal purple vs M1 when they were chilled at -40 Fahrenheit and royal purple was suuuper thick while M1 was a lot thinner. Personally, I could never run Royal Purple in my car year round because of the Wisconsin winters but hey, if it works it works!
  2. Where are you seeing that it's on sale? Are you talking about the pennzoil platinum 5w-30? Or the 5w-40, because I only see the 5w-40 for $10 a quart
  3. Ok, thanks a bunch. I'm thinking that I'm going to go with penzoil platinum 5w-40 for my next oil change. Is this a step up from M1? I haven't really seen much input with penzoil here but my buddy uses it in his sti and has 0 issues with it.
  4. So (I'm a noob here) the 5w-40 is thicker and it helps the turbo out a lot more? I also found out the the Subaru oil filter is the only oil filter that doesn't allow oil to bypass the filter upon start up. Right now I have a K&N filter on and the only thing I notice is a oil smell on start up and a little bit of smoke on start up. Is this the M1 or something else? Thanks for the reply
  5. This thread has confused the s*** outa me. Right now I'm using Mobile-1 5w-30 high mileage (I have 102k miles), and I feel like I'm burning oil. What can I do to fix it? And I've also been looking at Penzoil Platinum and Casterol GTX. Should I stick with M1 or switch? I live in Wisconsin so winters can be quite cold, so I'd like to stick with 5w-30.
  6. Thank you a bunch! Now all I gotta do is get the money and find hub-centric rings.
  7. But won't the tires/rims rub on my suspension? Im scared of rubbing with all stock suspension and don't want to roll fenders
  8. Will enkei RPF1s fit on my 06 lgt sedan with stock suspension? 17x9 45 inset, 73 bore diameter (Need help with tire sizes) 18x8 45 inset, 56 bore diameter (also need help with tire sizes) I don't want to rub or have to roll fenders, but I don't want huge wheel gap. I also can't lower my car due to my exhaust already hanging low. Sorry I'm a noob to wheels and fitment but what bore spacers do I need to get for the 17s and the 18s? Thanks for putting up with me
