  1. That question has been asked before. The LGT lowering springs are too short, the ride would likely be horrible.
  2. Do yourself a favor and have an extra seal on hand. It's worth the $8 Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk
  3. Makes sense, and for $7, why not? I plan on replacing mine once I figure out whether or not I'm going to rebuild, I was just eager to get everything back together.
  4. +1. I reused my 2nd one because it was a day old, but I'd recommend replacing it. Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk now Free
  5. +1. Either way, I think it's dealer-only. It was only like $7 though. Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Sorry to see it go, man. Beautiful car! Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Yep, just replied to the PM, but I used a hook pick and went around the inside edge of the seal where it meets the diff. I was able to get it out without damaging it at all. Apparently, I pushed it in too far the first time and it didn't seal properly Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Done! Whole process took about 2 hours, including replacing the axle seal. Didn't need a slide hammer or hub puller
  9. Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot. Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Both Subaru of Plano and Sewell Subaru are quoting me $200+ for the bearing/hub assembly. Where are you guys getting it for ~$140?
  11. Next project for me. Looks easy enough Sent from my SGH-T699 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Finished mine last night, still have the bearing noise and now it's leaking worse than before. Pretty sure the dealer parts guy sold me the wrong seal. Now I get to take it apart again. Yay!
