  1. I just noticed why you referred me to a dealer in Colorado! I have since moved out of Colorado but frequently go back. My contacts are at both Heuberger in the Springs and AutoNation in Centennial. Those are my go to dealers. My Forester was ok at best but I wanted something faster than the 184hp status quo. . I have driven the Outback XT and enjoyed the ride. I want to see how the Legacy feels being slightly lower to the ground. That’s what will be the deciding factor. Hey I’d be willing to drive to Ft. Collins-ish for a good deal but I think I have that handled. If anything changes though I’ll toss a PM your way!
  2. I was looking for another category and not just a sticky since the last one was 2015+ Gallery on the main forum.
  3. Welcome back Ronnin3.6r. That name will have to stick and all the new kids will have to wonder what the 3.6 means haha. I'm setting aside money for wheels and suspension along with tint and will be hunting down some aero parts. Found a couple places in Taiwan that manufacturer for Subaru so we'll see. Like Pilot1226 though I might swing for the Outback over the Legacy but I love the stance of the Legacy. Just sold my Forrester because what I thought would be just a ho hum car really got me itching for something faster. . We shall see! I know my dealer real well too and can get both cars for the same price with equal trims.
  4. I wear a mask cause I care about my community. If I go walk around the neighborhood I don't wear a mask but come to think of it I probably should. Even without a mask people think I'm going to assault them so they make a bee line around me so it won't be any different. At the end of the day, better to be safe I guess.
  5. While I love the hood scoop, it does not add any functionality to the Legacy. Keep in mind the vent that leads to the inter cooler has already been designed and tested. I replied to one of Compressive Tuning’s posts on Instagram and they said no testing was done as far as cooler air or any kind of gains. In essence, it is just visual then. Might look cool but if it doesn’t add anything to it, I rather leave it alone.
  6. I had this issue when I had my Forester XT and hated the seats. The dealer told me I could buy WRX (or whichever seats) and have them install it. However there is no other way to get it like that on day 1 from the factory. Maybe look for a wrecked Legacy and pull the seats out and do a swap.
  7. Yes! Like that! Thanks! It looks subtle but not. Can't say I'm a fan but I guess I'd also have to reserve it for an in person review.
  8. I have owned and driven a number of Subarus. My favorite would be my 07 Legacy GT. 315hp of fun and it was such a sleeper. I would do a turbo'd Legacy again. I wish they kept the GT moniker but those are just small details. I debadge my cars anyway. With the little amount I need for utility, I'll leave that to the wife. I'll take the go fast car and tinker with it along the way.
  9. Nice ride! Any chance we can see more pics from the back? I can't tell if the lip spoiler sticks up super vertical or not. It looks subtle but not really haha.
  10. I need to read thsoe articles again cause I know a lot of people were saying dynamat was overrated, etc etc... good to know of alternatives.
  11. I think I clicked on this link some time ago but forgot...a lot of the things seem deja vu. If I remember correctly, there was a site very similiar to this that stated it is not needed to cover everything but to cover strategically where sound comes in the most. If anyone can correct me that'd be great. All good information though, I will need to re-read this thread and this one link.
  12. I've read this thread 3 times...this is interesting. I'm going to read it again. I would like to get the best material to do a project like this...I think it would be worth it to kill some road noise.
