  1. Hey, those look good. I was just considering them. And, the usual questions: What size and model tire? Any rub?
  2. Cool vid! But I want to hear the engine and tires! My coworker Chris was helping out, working corners, and got in a few laps in his white RX7 (hint, it doesn't have a rotary anymore).
  3. Is the guy from the MC lapping day at Milwaukee Mile on here? My coworker was working there, and I'd like to see the car some time.
  4. I'm up for a get together, but late Sept - early Oct might not work.
  5. That looks really good. All blacked out looks better than I would have guessed. Works really well with your color car.
  6. Those look good, and the price is great. How does the quality compare to the original headlights? Did you install them yet?
  7. Regarding the spring lengths in the photos above, the difference is surprising. It's at least conceivable that the pink springs are that much shorter because they are somewhat stiffer and lower the ride height slightly. I ordered these for my spec B, but haven't installed them yet: Front P/N: ST2033021010 Free length: 9 3/16 inch Rear P/N: ST2038021010 Free length: 11 1/2 inch ANYONE know of a good suspension and alignment shop in Madison, WI?
  8. Actually, the USDM spec B uses the same exact shocks as the JDM Legacy GT (JDM GT Rev.C Bilsteins). So the USDM Bilsteins are intended to be used with certain pink springs. It's all explained much better here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61108
  9. One generally wants to match spring and shock rates. The US spec.B has the same shocks as the JDM GT, so it makes sense to use the JDM GT pink springs with the US spec.B shocks. Some people upgrade their US Legacy to the firmer JDM spec.B shocks, so it would make sense for them to use JDM spec.B springs.
  10. Speaking of recommendations, can anybody recommend a ClearBra/paint protection film installer in the Madison area? I'm still looking for a good paint shop too.
  11. At the moment this makes sense to me (what unclemat recommends): Front P/N: ST2033021010 GT Wagon Manual Rear P/N: ST2038021010 GT Wagon Manual This should be the shortest front spring to provide the max front drop, and the longest rear spring to provide the min rear drop. Which should result in an even stance on a USDM spec.B. I just wish someone knew the difference between the JDM GT and JDM GT-B pinks! I don't even know if the JDM spec.B has a six speed?
  12. My understanding of the reasoning: The 2007 and newer spec.B's have the 6MT which is heavier than the 5MT in the JDM GT. The AT is heavier than the 5MT, so front springs intended for the AT better match our heavy 6MT. That being said, using JDM GT 5MT front springs should lower the front of our cars even more relative to the rear, which is also addressed by... Our cars tend to look lower in the rear, and wagons are slightly heavier in the rear, so wagon springs lower the rear relatively less compared to the front, and the drop looks more even. Wagon owners are out of luck, which is one reason people make spring spacers to fix "saggy butt". So using JDM GT wagon MT springs makes sense to me. What I can't figure out is the difference between the JDM GT and JDM GT-B springs. Are the JDM spec.B pinks shorter or stiffer than the JDM GT pinks?
  13. Sirsimon has nice before and after pictures in post #17: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52820 Drop looks good. He confirmed he used: The fronts: ST2033021000 (2 orange paint dabs) The rears: ST2038021000 (2 white paint dabs)
