  1. Hey franklin, do you have a VF40 stil sitting in your closet?
  2. I just keep asking my self...why ? Why would you do this ?
  3. Changed the cabin filter in the wife's Honda ... no tools required and 60 seconds of work. I have a cabin filter in my 05 LGT. What idiot designed this unit. You have to take 1/2 the car apart to change it.
  4. I'm with you. What a waste of good money
  5. A young father is home watching his 4 year old son while his wife is out shopping. The boy has been looking out the front window for a while , Dad slides over to check out what is going on that has the boys attention. To his horror the boy has been watching two dogs screwing on the sidewalk! He pulls the child back into the room. The child asks " Dad what were those dogs doing?" Dad's thinking ... I dont need this yet...4 years old... and replies You see son that dog on the top hurt his foot and that dog on the bottom is his buddy. He's gonna carry him home. The boy ponders that for a moment and responds. Jeeze dad thats just like people , you go to help someone out and end up getting screwed.
  6. +1. Im not due yet, but seems that I heard thats its really not too difficult a job compaired to other makes. Is this accurate.
  7. ^^ thanks I found that out last night at Wally World. Then they did not have enough bottles of semi so I bought Castrol fluid at Pep Boys
  8. Anyone try the full synthetic ? My hope would be for an easier time getting into reverse. If the Semi syn works , and rates this well , I figure the full syn would be even better.
  9. What year is your car ? What trans ? My '05 manual did not have anything like that to deal with ? Could it be a Califorina air pump?
  10. Do they have it in the handy 5 gallon buckets like Subaru oil?
  11. Did mine today. The pointers on this link were a big help. Maybe I can add a few details that may help make somebody day easier. A) Antiseize on the plug threads-easier to remove next time and easier to install and less likely to cross thread B) The "pads" on the frame. Use a simple screwdriver to pop the front attachment off and pull them up and out of the way. The little bit of extra room made a ton of difference on the drivers side. Spare yourself a lot of unnecessary ag pop them off and tip it up. C) As for the pull the battery -not pull the battery argument. If ET is you friend call him over and give him a beer. If you have normal human hands ... pull the battery . Too much crap in the way for me. I could not get a second hand down w/o pulling the battery. The next time I do this will be quicker but I dont think I could get this down to the 35 minutes that some people quote. My hat goes off to you.
  12. One of 127 SWP 5 manual Limited black gut- the rarest USA sedan
  13. Weird. Mine did the same today... stuck for a moment and then worked. Sounds like a common fail point.
