  1. here is what just happened to me. so this morning i was walking past my car going out the garage door, when i notice that hvac/stereo is lit up. ? ... check and see if i left the ignition is on. nope it was off. checked to see if it starts, it does but is cranking a little slower than normal. wtf!! also i cant shut it off or change temp settings at all. well i went to work came home and the car is dead. wtf again!!! i just got done jumping it to find that it still has the same prob, so i took the whole thing out. what do you guys thinks wrong? it's toast or what. side note, does anyone know where i can get a new unit the cheapest, the wife is going to freak! thanks in advance!
  2. i did mine on ramps because i heard that was what your supposed to do. other wise the bars might bind when you try to put the car back on the ground due to the suspension being slack when you jack it up.
  3. how hard is it to replace the rear seat cover anyway? wifey burned a hole in the fabric, and I thought i might try to do it myself.
  4. it wasn't just outbacks that had this problem. i have a lgt unlimited, and i still had to at least use spacers for my kartboy end links, otherwise it would have torn the bushings in the end links up like everyone else. the collars are just a good idea for any bar to keep the bar from walking one way or the other. i still think these are great bars though, and would buy them all over again.
  5. well, i ordered a set of oz ultraleggeras in the brite silver and 18x8 variety. also got a set of goodyear eagle f1 all seasons mounted to them all from the tire rack. now all i have to do is agonize over the wait till they get here!
  6. strange...how come i can see them when i clicky???
  7. what do you guys think? should i go with these: http://www.tirerack.com/snow/WheelSearchLite.jsp?frontMake=O.Z.&frontModel=Ultraleggera&finish=Black+Painted&finishAbbrev=Q&frontSize=18x8&frontPrice=325&frontWeight=18.4&frontStock=In+Stock&frontDiameter=18&frontSpecCode=0&frontMarkdownPrice=0&frontMapPrice=0&frontSortCode=95581&frontPartNumber=W0171220553B&frontOffset=48&frontSubType=&frontQty=4&constType=1pc. or these, http://www.tirerack.com/snow/WheelSearchLite.jsp?frontMake=Enkei+Racing+Series&frontModel=NT03-M&finish=Bright+Silver+Paint&finishAbbrev=GA&frontSize=18x7.5&frontPrice=250&frontWeight=17.5&frontStock=In+Stock&frontDiameter=18&frontSpecCode=0&frontMarkdownPrice=0&frontMapPrice=0&frontSortCode=95581&frontPartNumber=3658758048BS&frontOffset=48&frontSubType=&frontQty=4&constType=1pc.
  8. I've had cobb sways and kartboy endlinks since June, and have yet to have any problems with them. I did use Velo's idea with spacers and collars, so that's what is probably contributing to the endlinks lasting, thanks Velo!
  9. spotted a silver lgt with what looked like a RBS grill, tinted windows, and a perrin sticker in the bottom half of the small quarter windows. saw him just getting off the interstate heading south down highway 141 towards the Super Target at around 2:30pm. i was in a work truck going the opposite way, so i couldn't chase after him.
