  1. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPIrsZjFlT0I]YouTube- Subaru Proof[/ame]

    Is this you??!!

  2. That looks great. But what's wrong with the electronics being exposed? There should be no elements behind the screen, right?
  3. Hi there - I saw your car pc install. Sahweet! I have a few questions as I'm debating going this route.

    - I have absolutely NO computer knowledge; would this be a bad idea to have it professionally done for me? Maintenance needed on the pc?

    - You started with the stock nav bezel and modified it from there, right?

    - Where is your pc mounted?

    - How is it running now?

    - Recommend any good fabricators for the nav bezel?

    Thanks!

  4. How do you like your Brembos? I've about had it with the pulsating from my stock discs.
  5. The QSM looks so good clean, but looks so good dirty as well.
  6. Wow. Is AWD needed in Jamaica? My wife and I went there for a trip but it looked like people were able to get around on literally all types of vehicles. I know a few hurricanes and whatnot come through. Or maybe you just like Subaru? Help!
  7. http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/CarPortalâ„¢/KOS-L432 Would this screen work?
  8. http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=903#3077 Here it is! See, in my mind, I'm thinking a shop could get one, modify the bezel to fit the Kenwood screen, then sell a packet of brackets, etc. needed to attach everything securely to the Legacy dash - done. No touching the center stack. Edit: This is the only reason I haven't run out and purchased a simple Parrot unit for Bluetooth. Here's "hoping" Highline will jump on this...
  9. I think you'd (Highline) score some major dough if you just offered a nav bezel w/o buttons. My opinon. Then we could all tap that Kenwood system with the new screen and replace our old nav units.
  10. I'm about to pull the trigger on just a Parrot install to get Bluetooth. But this is a sweet setup and if a company could sell LHD modified nav bezels, they could make a killing. Makes no sense to me to have a nav/radio in the bezel in addition to the stock radio in the console - not a clean install in my opinion.
  11. *Rubs hands together* Anyone else interested in this? My only concern is that, since my job requires travel, I may need to take the plunge and get my own Parrot setup and skip messing with the nav and nav bezel.
  12. I've seen the pics you speak of - yes, it was a modified nav bezel to eliminate the row of hard buttons and therefore allow for a larger screen. If Highline mass-produced these, I'd be a happy camper. Otherwise, may just go a simple route of installing a Parrot unit and have an extra button somewhere on the dash/console.
  13. That's what I told them a long time ago but it sounded as if there wasn't enough of a need. Come on guys...rally! Let's get a nav bezel w/o buttons so we can install a screen!!!
