  1. That statement infers that there is life in this thread I've never been away, just lurking for a while
  2. .....and a German driving said Ferrari
  3. It was very clear what Vettel was trying to do, fortunately it didn't make a difference anyway so no one really cares.
  4. Finally got them fitted And lowered too, how the car should have come from the factory.
  5. 12 years 3 months and counting. I need to get a life
  6. Picked up a set of BBS RG wheels, just need to get some tyres installed now. I didn't realize that these wheels needed a different type of lug nuts, so that's something else to buy now
  7. Your 7 years of no accidents means that you are going to survive the next 30 or 40 not having one? You will have an accident at one point in your driving life, it may not be your fault, it may not be serious but you will have one and if there are any technological gadgets that can prevent that one time, then it is more than worth it. I spent the last 35 years of my life driving without gadgets, but as soon as my wife got a 2016 Outback with eyesight, I loved it so much I went out and got a Legacy with eyesight, it really is that good.
  8. Installed the Morimoto foglights this afternoon; on a 1 to 10 difficulty I would say this is a 2. Very easy to do just by jacking the front of the car up and pulling the plastic undertray out of the way. The Morimotos do give a much brighter light output, although hard to tell in daylight by how much. Also, does anyone have any tips on how to adjust them? From light threads I've seen before it's usually a case of parking so far away from a wall and measuring the height of the beam. I did manage to get the securing screw and the popit in to hold them in place, just needs a little jiggling. The original securing bolt isn't a great fit as it has a shoulder on it which doesn't fit through the hole in the bracket, but there's just enough thread to make it tight. On the drivers side there is a spare electrical socket on the wiring harness for the windshield bottle (picture attached), does anyone know what this is for, maybe JDM or European models have a rear windshield washer and wiper?
  9. Ordered a set of the Morimoto fog lights from Amazon C$140 with free shipping. Install will be next weekend hopefully. Tail to turn and C lamps from DD is next on the list. Has anyone installed the C lamps themselves? I opened the headlight housings on my '05 a few times, wasn't difficult at all, just worried about the wiring, are they plug and play?
  10. Late to the party as always........ So impressed with your workmanship. Hope to see you out on the road soon.
  11. Impressive. Time to update the list on post#2
  12. OK, let's pretend that I am a tourist here in Montreal who doesn't pay Harper or Charest. Nudge nudge, wink wink.
  13. What's your price for cash, picked up in Quebec ?
