  1. Good to hear you are safe, but it's a real bummer losing another OG in the 5th gen group. I've also been thinking about what new car I'd want and I keep going back to the new Acura Integra Type S. Only thing really holding me back is the hefty sticker and FWD.
  2. yea he's been off the forum and sold his GT awhile back
  3. BBPeik did an STi trans swap. He had to get custom axels bc the STi ones were too short
  4. hit up Derek Sousa on https://www.facebook.com/groups/1614599485496235 but iirc, the knuckles had to be modified and possibly also the axles since the splines wouldn't fit.
  5. Officially hit my 10yr anniversary with my GT! It's the first car I really worked on (outside of regular maintenance items), and I've made alotta 5th gen friends along the way. Been way more smiles than frowns with this car and I hope to keep it going until my kids can drive so I can teach them how to drive stick. The GT has come a long way, and none of it would have been possible without the insight and support of the 5th Gen Forum fam!
  6. This is the exact one I bought and it dropped in plug and play. It came with the plug so that it works both for the STi and WRX(which also doesnt need the extra connection that the STi does)
  7. lol yea they're making a movie about it https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14209916/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
  8. yea you can fumble around in the wheel well, or pull the bumper and be done in half the time.
  9. It really is awesome how just a quick tune can change the car. I'd recommend a protune if possible, but for now enjoy!
  10. Glad you're doing better, and hopefully no longterm issues. I got it back in mid may and was heavily fatigued for about a day and a half. What was weird was that I didn't develop a cough until I tested negative again, and it lingered for a month. The one positive from it all was that I had to quarantine for 10 days, so I got to take a break from the kids and nap anytime I damn well pleased (CDC rec changed to 5 days after I was done lol)
  11. either the a/c clutch or compressor took a dump today. I guess not too bad for 13yrs of texas heat
  12. Congrats on making the move to the Denver area. Love it out there, I've got friends in Golden, CO. If I'm ever out there again I'll try to hit you up
  13. I certainly hope so. The last and only update I've read was from end of May. I'll let y'all know if I hear anything new
