  1. I didn't want to start a new thread, so hopefully this will be a short answer. I'm getting confused on which flywheel is which. Do we have a single mass? Did the previous generation legacy have a dual mass, but the wrx have a single mass? and if you can't tell what I'm getting at, a new clutch is in my future and I will most likely just have my flywheel resurfaced.
  2. Oh I know, part of me wishes it would just give me that first sign so I could get it over with. It was Cobb ots for for about 30k and now bren etuned for the last 10k
  3. Everytime I read one of these clutch threads I sit and think that the next time I do a high speed pull will be the time my OEM clutch gives out. Especially since I plan to do the job myself (with a lift), but my clutch just keeps chugging along, 62k miles. 40k at stage 2 and still no slipping. Maybe I'm not launching enough...
  4. I think this was discussed before in another thread, but whenever I see another Legacy (usually a 2.5i) I think they are going to look over and realize I'm driving the bad-ass extra loud version of their car... Then you realize the legacy's target audience and know they have no interest in loud turbocharged sports sedans.
  5. Back in black. I finally got my car back yesterday. (I was in an accident in late February). Have the 2013 headlights installed, and the grille color matched to the paint. It came out good, although the body shop made no promises on how long the paint is going to last on the plastic chrome. And for comparison, a little before, during, and after.
  6. Ok, lets get back to brakes again. For the front only. If I get the gold STI brembo calipers, all I need are 2004 STI rotors?
  7. At some point I wouldn't mind blacking out the trim, but as far as "murdering it out" goes, I'll be getting either winter rims, or summer rims, and even though all black wouldn't be a bad idea. I really do love the look of bronze and black, or maybe even another color combination. In reality though, I'm pretty stingy/cheap and I'll most likely buy whatever rims happen to be a good deal the time i buy them, regardless of the color.
  8. Well, I was waiting for the perfect day where my car would be washed and my yard would be done to take pictures of the car.. here is 1 of those 2 things done. I did the grill blackout when I replaced the bumper.
