  1. Is this still going on? i found the issue with mine by luck and it was resolved. Lower control arm bushing was at fault. it had too much play.
  2. Checked it out at the New York International Auto Show. Good numbers, didn't feel it. Rear visibility also wasn't optimal food me.
  3. I'm still stuck in between a Legacy XT (but the cvt...), the Q50 Sport (interior is meh and no Android Auto, atx only. ), Grand Cherokee Limited (worse interior yet, but easier to change radio later, 8 speed disappointing).
  4. Interestingly enough, i burned version 8 and the heat died down on that disc and it worked well. I'll be sure to remember OP.
  5. so my OEM nav disc gets intensely hot, found out when i had to get another DVD out, and my Navigation suddenly takes up to 40 minutes to open the maps and stupid slow to move the map around on the screen. when maps are loading all functions other than radio and bluetooth lag for minutes. tried putting in a non nav disc in for less than 5 seconds and ejected. Came out hot as well. Figured i try a new update disc which is burning as we speak (I hope). Any thoughts on wtf is going on?
  6. I had a problem with one of their loaners prior to that recall...
  7. They did mine in less than a day. I made a video of the outside and inside of my car AT the dealer sho they could see. Cat cane back fine.
  8. I do my best to keep that cat in perfect shape. Dealer better shop the same. They scratched my 09 LGT and i had then re paint it before i traded it in to another dealer.
  9. Great. My airbag recall is scheduled for the 12th...
  10. To bring this somewhat back on track, (YES, I'm still Alive.) I still have my 12LGT. it just got a new shortblock 3,600 ago. Subaru covered it because i kept nagging and records of when the car was at about 40k. I'm at about 92k now with a new motor. I've been considering replacing my LGT for either a Grand Cherokee Limited or an Infiniti Q50 Sport or Red Sport. another subaru wasn't in contention until i heard of the new Legacy Turbo. We just got a new Ascent for the wife 2 weeks ago and the 2.4 motor is fairly strong. The CVT, i'm not sure i'll ever love it even if it gets better. 8 of my last 9 cars were manual. Now, i know the same engine on the Ascent will feel even stronger and lighter, with better economy, but still, mixed feelings on going to that. Even when i rented a JGC for a few weeks (my car was hit by some young asshat in a nissan truck) i was still reaching for the clutch. i've caught myself doing the same in the Ascent. (yes, i know the Q50 is also Auto) I'm keeping mine until i can make a decision to bite the bullet.
  11. I have the issue where mine rattles by only if I'm at highway speeds (60-80) AND on long right hand curves or lane changes to the right on highways. Checked for Bent rims, by lifting on stands and c recording every wheel independently, had axles, hub and suspension "checked" by Sears, i checked brakes and found seized guide pin, turned out to not be the problem. Rotated wheels, balanced, alignment. Nothing. Thoughts?
  12. The issue i seem to be having is that at around 70-80 mph on highway when taking long right hand curves that require turning the steering wheel at about 15-20° i get hard vibration from front end and goes away every time when i release wheel or reduce steering angle. I know i had slight bend on wheel so i moved it to the back after balancing them. Still same problem? Thoughts?
