  1. As soon as your cable arrives, log as much driving as you can. If you're not seeing any knock, you won't be doing damage - you just may not yield all the benefits of your mods
  2. Should also clarify, my car is an ADM LGT Wagon EJ20X 2.0T with Dual AVCS 5EAT
  3. Well Im happy to report I succussfully flashed my MY04 GT ECU tonight using the VAG-COM cable. After humming and harring whether to attempt it - I did it at my mates workshop with the tactrix 1.3M cable as a backup if the flash went wrong.... and well it didn't. Using: - ECU Flash 1.42 - the fore mentioned driver - windows XP SP2 worked a treat. Test wrote first, worked fine, so did a full write. And now I have the timing backed off to bring the IAM back to 1.0 where it should be!
  4. I have just my VAG-COM cable from Hong Kong ($16US delivered) to read the ROM of my 04 ADM Liberty GT (Same spec as JDM Legacy GT). I was using ECUFlash V1.38 as I could not get an earlier copy than that, and it read fine. Thanks for the writeup! Any hints when it comes to flashing on another map?
  5.
