  1. Out of curiosity, what do you guys think my old LGT rack w/ 58K on it is worth?
  2. 58K on 133. Its also is now a garage queen, occasionally seeing track days here and there
  3. Add me to the list fella's. Got a the new 13:1 sti rack installed in my spec (non vdc) over the course of the last week. Just a got to set the toe and a little more bleeding to go. As always, thanks Rick for figuring this all out and for the write up!
  4. 001 is owned by Subaru and in their collection in New Jersey.
  5. IANAL, but that's the only way the number can really be 'verified', and even then it's a bit suspect. AFAIK, Subaru did not match specb #'s with VIN's. Look a way back in this thread, there is a member who has (I think) a specb brought back from the dead, but in the process it lost it's number plate. As I recall, he contacted Subaru about it, and they were unable to help. For the spec b's that have been on this forum since purchase, it may be a little easier due to this thread and it's predecessors. SpecB.LGT - keep in mind, the low number does not make the car any more valuable then any of the higher numbers. Also, I see #004 was loaned out to car and driver for a review. Did not see anything about #002 though. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2006-subaru-legacy-25gt-specb-short-take-road-test
  6. Oh snap, it's Mile's old car eh? Does it still have the pinks on it?
  7. Looks like bad lighting and a cell phone camera to me. But that console... Was the previous owner a smoker?
  8. ^^Exactly. I bought #133 brand new. Actually, I had a deposit on her 7 months in advance. Rest assured, the only two options available on the 2006 were spt short throw shifter and rear spoiler. I concur with the above posts, the wheel is OEM, and appears to have been rewrapped professionally. Its a neat mod, and it looks like its a one of a kind!
  9. You have all of the aluminum bits? control arms, trailing arms, etc.. ?
  10. dvsstv, what country are you from? From the front plate, I think it's safe to assume you're not in the US or Canada. What color are your struts?
  11. They came with spec b springs The stock ones were black. The pinks were a popular upgrade back in the day. #133 has pinks too.
  12. This is only true in the USDM. SpecB's were offered in other markets. IIRC dvsstv doesn't have his location listed.
  13. Point, set, match. All cars can be collectible, but one must always assume they are a liability, not an asset.
  14. The SpecB's do have some nice upgrades over the normal LGTs, like barmanbean eluded too. But, if you are buying it used, it's important to note that your insurance company sees no difference in a SpecB or an LGT. If it's in great shape get it, but don't overpay for it. If you want the aluminum control arm bits (the best part of the B), contact money(username on this board), he is parting out #273.
