just a quick word about those talking about smog shops that are a bit lax on the rules: I believe they're required to look at serial numbers on all emission items. and for them to over look some visuals is probably a no no by California. so with that being said, I do appreciate smog locations that aren't strict. I think carb is over reaching and dumb. so maybe it might not be super recommended to mention very specific shops, in case someone is snooping.
