  1. Sorry to raise this from the dead, but I thought I would post what the issue was. We found a pinched/partially cut wire in the harness running through the rubber sheathing going from the body to the trunk. Once we repaired that, the lights were fine. We really had pull/stretch the rubber sheathing to find the problem.
  2. BTW, thanks everyone for the PMs, I think I've replied to everything up through yesterday. I am putting the car on hold for someone coming to look at it tomorrow evening. Hope it'll go to a good home... Thanks.
  3. There is another silver GT wagon in our area -- but it's an automatic. We saw it a few times and actually talked to the owner at the gas station a couple years ago. Other than that... Unicorn! Ha ha.
  4. Ha, agreed, no parters, please! If someone is short on cash and can't afford the asking price, I'll keep the spare parts and sell them separately.
  5. 7. Oh, also, I have the engine cover too. I've had it off almost since new.
  6. BTW, I found more stuff that goes with the car at full price. 1. Rebuilt turbo from one of the guys here on the forum that does that. I bought it at 100k or so expecting to have to replace it but the original is still going strong. Probably because I removed the banjo bolt filters long time ago. 2. Extra set of (dirty, some curb rash) Legacy GT wheels I bought from somebody on here years ago. 3. Set of 18" Sport Edition wheels with Continental DWS at min tread. 4. Original carpet mats are somewhere too, I think. It's had the rubber mats since new. 5. OEM shocks/springs, I think. Don't hold me to this. Not sure why you'd want them anyway. 6. Bilstein HDs -- I ran these for a year, thought they were too firm, replaced with the Konis that are on there. Cheers!
  7. Thanks, southern PA between Baltimore and Harrisburg.
  8. ***Car is sold. Thanks for all of the inquiries!*** 192,300 miles $5,250 OBO One owner car, excellent condition. Runs great. PA safety and emission inspection performed 05/19. This car is ready to be someone's reliable daily driver. And, of course, it's AWESOME in the snow! Brilliant Silver Metallic exterior, black interior. Five speed manual transmission and an AWD wagon? Super rare and hard to find a combination like this! Oil/filter changed with Rotella T6 and PureOne PL14610 filter every 3k - 5k miles using synthetic oil since new. Paint and interior are in great condition, especially considering the age. Always garaged except for when it was away part-time at college between 2016-2018. Tires have good tread life remaining. Mods: CobbAP, Koni adjustable shocks and H&R springs since almost new (5k miles or so). Also has xenon projectors and Nameless axle-back exhaust -- since about 2016 or so. Engine runs strong. All services kept up. I do my own work -- i have two lifts at home and multiple "interesting" cars. Purchased new in PA in 2005.
  9. Does anyone know of or have any Epic or Eibach springs for sale (new or used)? One of my front springs on my 05 LGT Wagon broke and I need to replace it. If not, which springs on the market are similar in terms of ride quality (relatively soft) and drop (not too much)? I'm on Koni inserts. Thanks.
  10. The reverse lights on our '05 GT Wagon (5MT) that is now driven by our son stopped working. I replaced the backup switch that's attached to the transmission -- it wasn't working. However, the lights still don't work. Fuse is fine. I'm getting 12V at the connector to the backup switch but am getting nothing at the bulb sockets. I pulled the rubber protective tubing away from both sets of wires connecting the roof to the trunk lid and the wires seem fine. Both bulbs are fine. It appears that the neutral switch attached to the transmission is also not working (I can only get continuity sometimes and briefly when depressing the button) but I don't think this affects the backup light circuit. Any ideas on what else I could troubleshoot? Thanks guys!
  11. Just took the banjo bolt off my 117k mile '05 GT Wagon for the first time. The screen looked like new. Lost one of the washers taking the bolt out and it's 10:30 on Sunday night. Oh well, off to the stealership in the AM before going to work. Will definitely use the thread idea then putting it all back together. I should mention that my last five or so OCI's were 5k then 7.5k (twice) then 10k (twice). Using Rotella T6 (basically since that oil came out) and the larger PureOne filter.
  12. Did stage 2 about a year ago. Then decided to use some copper wire to seal the top half of both flanges (basically, formed the wire into half of a flange gasket shape). It basically sounds like stage 2 but with a little less resonance in the back area of my GT wagon. Liked that for awhile. Got bored with the sound after a few more months,so went back to stock for a few months. Got bored again this past Thanksgiving weekend and went to put my custom Stage 2 back in. Couldn't find it. Looked in a few drawers and there it was. I put the custom Stage 2 (wire) back in. Gotta love the Hog-zawst. Saves storage space when you don't want it installed. (Ha! I've got the first Hog-zawst post of Dec 2009.)
  13. Ack. I just got an email back from Jazzy. Here's what he said. I'll have to disconnect the brown wires now. "Installed, the board should be facing down with the RCA jacks pointed towards the front of the radio...I'm not sure which side the white/red jack is on, but I think that should answer your question. Regarding the GLI - cut the brown wires off. Attaching them to ground will defeat the purpose of the GLI. They are only there for very old audio equipment that required independent reference grounds to work properly."
  14. OK, just for those who get the boards with the red and white RCA jacks on them... The white RCA jack should be on the passenger side and the red RCA jack should be on the driver side when the cables are inserted. Since the PAC filter brown wires are so short, I just attached them to two of the seven screws that secure the rear cover/heat sink.
