  1. Is some sort of inline reducer necessary for the radiator hoses? The inlet/outlets on the Mishimoto appear to be much smaller than the hoses - are the hoses squeezed so as to reduce their diameter due to the wrong sized fittings on the radiator?
  2. Did all '05 2.5i limiteds have black leather interiors or did the chart not take into account multiple colors for this model?
  3. Looks like the 2.5i and GT are a little different then I suppose
  4. It's so easy. Do you have a 10mm ratchet? Yes? You can do this job. Gasket maker is unnecessary, the gaskets are molded rubber and are not designed to have RTV silicone applied.
  5. The plot thickens... As long as he doesn't respond to the PayPal claims within 30 days (?) you guys will get your money back, regardless of what happened to him. If he was a true scammer, I would think he'd fight the PayPal claim, making it harder for you to get your money back.
  6. Something may have happened with him given that he isn't even responding to the paypal claims. You guys will get your money back if he doesn't. I'd remove his cell and e-mail info - I understand you're mad but anything could have happened on his end. It's not clear that he's scammed you guys yet. If he put that he prefers local pickup, that means he actually has the products and was willing to sell them in person for cash. Unless you have evidence that he really is ignoring you (picked up then hungup the phone, recent flaky correspondence), he could've died for all we know/death in the family/house burned down. Edit: he hasn't even logged in since 3/29
  7. The wheels look much better all black, I hope that's what the current setup is! Are those eBay rotors?
  8. Interesting... would the attenuator go in line with the 3.5mm jack or involve the aux-in circuit board? Either way I'm curious.
  9. I'd really like to start using my iPod's line-level output but cannot for the same reason. It's ever-so-slightly too much volume output, to where I get a small amount of static on playback. If I was to reduce the attenuation by 12dB, would my iPod provide an adequate signal to keep the unit switched in aux mode when on "Auto?" Will future versions of the board be adjusted differently, or has it already been fine tuned and +12dB is the sweet spot?
  10. Sebastien - It's as firmly connected as it can be, I've tried wiggling both ends and it doesn't improve or decrease the quality. The static sounds just like it does when the volume is at 100% on the 3.5mm output. Subtle, but still a little annoying. Is it possible the audio gain is slightly too high? I've tested the Dock-->3.5mm cable on another car with an aux-in and it comes through clear. I'm getting by just fine by using the 3.5mm jack on my iPod at about 70% volume though; Nothing I'd ever request a refund for!
  11. I noticed on the site it mentions that the audio gain has been increased in recent models so it is not required to use Line Out for sufficient volume but.... When I use my iPod's line level output (30pin dock connector to 3.5mm), it is staticy I have to use the 3.5mm output on the ipod and put the volume down significantly.
  12. You should start it up and do a walkaround next time! You know, stick the camera in and around the engine bay.
  13. I find it funny that a picture from my cellphone allowed you to make that crank trigger wheel! Technology is NUTS.
  14. Try putting washers or spacers between the transmission mount and it's crossmember. That should tilt it up about half an inch...Orr put washers on the hood hinge bolts like the Honda guys do to tilt it up a little probably better to do that than modify any mounting points if you don't have to
