  1. I have to say, I love reading your posts. So much clear info and great pictures. Keep up the good work!
  2. I really liked my Hogzust mod while I had it. Now I'm running the v2.1 SPT and that is a sexy sounding exhaust. You can hear the boxer rumble but with no drone. Not cheap though.
  3. I was a bit concerned when I got my Outback 2 years ago that the seats were going to be a problem for my back. I'm 45 and have a less than stellar back (not enough core work, too much time spent bent under hoods). I was used to the SRT-4 seats in my Neon which are pretty damn comfy for aggressively bolstered seats. But I have to say, even for longs trips (2-4 hours at a time), they haven't given me any problems. Maybe the 2008 seats are better made? TLDR: Mine are fine for my old back
  4. Just in case you are serious...at the top of each thread page, there is a "thread tools" drop-down button, the subscribe link is there. Great write-up here. Thank you so much for putting the time in to make this walk-through!
  5. Very good choice on the KWs. I had them on my ACR and they were amazing. Height looks perfect too.
  6. Yep, I installed the upper arms when I installed the Bilstiens. No worries about the mount. I was just thinking about completing the set. Gotta catch 'em all doncha know
  7. I have the upper arms in mine, and I have all the rest sitting in my garage waiting to go in. I plan to assemble the rear arms with new bearings and the STI backing plates I have before mounting them, but removal and install seems pretty straight forward. That is the one piece I don't have. Are you looking to sell it, or didn't you get it?
  8. While it is a leak in your exhaust, it is located at the back of the system. It will not effect O2 sensors, so no change to MPG there. This mod is to give you a performance exhaust sound without the expense. Some folks claim a slight smell of exhaust in the car, but I'm not one of them. Lastly, if you have yearly safety inspections where you live, you will want to reverse this mod before going in since it is after all an exhaust leak. I've had mine done for a year now and I still love it
  9. The rear shock mounts are the same for stock or US Bilsteins. *Edit* My bad, the JDM Blistein mount is different.
  10. Subaru doesn't sell the support bearing by itself. I don't know whether you can swap it from Legacy driveshaft since I left mine intact.
  11. Back pressure? Since you don't want back pressure, if anything, this mod would remove some. How did you manage to bend your flanges?
  12. I haven't done that part myself, but from what I can tell, any non- Outback crossmember should work.
