  1. Yes, that or take the 2 bags of concrete out of the trunk Front looks perfect to me - back looks too low... ?'s - - how much gas in the car when this shot was taken & do you normally - if ever - carry passengers in the back seat... Both of these questions need some mulling over before you can determine whether the front is not low enough or the back is already too low... I think the later myself....
  2. Myles, It would seem from the photos that you are achieving ride height adjustment through changing the spring pre-load only - is this correct ?
  3. Liked the page - looked at the gallery - then unliked.... WHY post a 4th gen Facebook Tribute page in a 5th gen forum ? This is the Legacy Photos ( 2010+ ) forum... I'd have no problems and certainly don't have any 4th gen hatred but if you at least had a few ( 20% perhaps ) of the CURRENT models there I would be interested - I am simply not that interested in last decade's models
  4. And how are we supposed top find this "tribute" without any links ? A search of facebook including your user name yields no joy............
  5. Well I have to admit that although I am ABSOLUTELY NOT A FAN of the Plastidip craze that seems to proliferate this site - - I do like what you did with your grill and feel that this is the first and only time that I have found plastidipping to have any saving grace... Doesn't look ghetto at all Good decission - good eye / judgement knocking it off the wings - - actually looks VERY nice... Congrats... but just don't mess up you wheels OK... I can't tell looking at most photos on this site if there are some models there with it - but one nice thing about the DIT's here in Japan is that the chrome on the grill is different from other models - kinda a smoked / black chrome as opposed to the bright chrome = = = if I didn't have that I might just go for your treatment... Cheers,
  6. JDM Legacy Touring Wagon GT 2.0 DIT - BRG Wheel: Ray's Engineering Homura 2x7 <~> 19 x 8 +48 in Spark Silver Tire: KUMHO SPT KU31 <~> 225/40-19 93Y XL Suspension: Blitz ZZ-R Damper #92777 Spring Rate: 7.0kg front 6.0kg rear Spring Static length: 198mm Damper Length Setting ( between spring preload and length nut ): Front: 60mm Rear: 40mm Car height - ground to top of fender well: Front: 664mm Rear: 672mm Damping Adjustment: 15 clicks from full hard front <~> 17 on rear
  7. Here you go.... Finished the install last night - Blitz ZZ-R dampers + Ray's Homura 19x8 48 + 225/40-19 Couldn't go much lower without regular rubs - - hope she doesn't settle more than 10 - 15mm
  8. Just went Summer Mode... Summer Time Pearl Blitz ZZ-R dampers and Ray's Homura 19x8 48 offset with 225/40-19 Nothing to report ride-wise - they only went on last night...
  9. There was a promo from Blitz here that gifted you one set of springs of your choice of rate... Like yourself I opted / requested 8kg so that I can go 8 / 7 or stay 7 / 6... We'll see next week when they finally go on...
  10. They aren't on yet - those are my snows... It will be a couple more weeks probably before the dampers and wheels go on - - it still gets below zero here at night although tonight it's still 2*C at 11:00 pm... If you look just past the front fender you can see about a 1m high snow bank - - we still have 1 - 2 meters of snow in the middle of the parks...
  11. Today Spring poked her head out from behind a snowbank here in Sapporo Japan so I took advantage of this nice break in the weather to give the wagon a Spring detailing... Wash, Clay-bar, Sealer & Carnuba took about 6 hours and my back and glutes are gonna be sore tomorrow but the result was well worth it... I really love the combo of Autoglym Super Resin Polish followed by Autoglym High Definition Wax... works for me....
  12. rpoMa3eka - nice car.... I met 2 guys at my Subaru dealer here in Sapporo from Владивосток & Южно Сахалинск who where trying to buy / order Legacy 2.0GT DIT wagons... The dealer asked me to come in and show them mine and give them some comments on my experience so far... Nice guys - I think that they ordered them but not too sure...
  13. First Impressions ? ? Is it the chubby younger sister that many 4th Gen guys think it is ?
  14. Thanks - I waited almost 2 months for them to build it at the factory but was pretty happy when it arrived - and still am now... It should come together pretty well this spring - I don't plan on doing anything yet to the motor as it already has 300ps but I will be concentrating on the suspension / tires this summer... There is still no tuners here in Japan that are willing to stick their necks out on the DIT and the fact that I live up north doesn't help as most tuners are on Honshu ( Tokyo -> Osaka mainly ) I already have Blitz ZZR dampers sitting in my hallway waiting to go in along with the Ray's wheels and 225/40-19s as soon as the weather clears up ( we had another snow storm today ) Waiting for my Cusco front & rear sway bars to arrive and will be adding all 4 of Cusco's power braces sometime in the summer - may go with the rear lateral links and trailing arms but that will be a wait and see thing - perhaps next spring... We are starting to see other parts starting to show up now for the latest editions BRG & BRM models - nice factory looking "D" shaped steering wheel finally came available that uses all the factory switches and air bag etc., - looks really nice... There will be a flood of parts & mods coming this summer I am certain but I am also certain that my 2013 MOD budget will be spent very soon and anything else will have to wait... Cheers,
