  1. Finally got a rack installed!!! Should be taking these pictures at a more scenic place but I just couldn't wait!! http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=84872&stc=1&d=1274002464 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=84873&stc=1&d=1274002464 http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=84874&stc=1&d=1274002464
  2. I have always thought putting your bike on top of a Legacy looked cool. but how difficult is it to mount a bike that high? A trunk mount looks much easier but is less cool.
  3. Was trying to do my own calculations for the endless BBK that I am about to purchase and produced this spreadsheet. Just enter your Piston diameter, rotor diameter and pad mu and it should be able to calculate you brake bias. Please note that the effective diameter/radius is estimated using the forumula suggested by praedet (effective diameter = Rotor diameter - Piston size x 5/4) and therefore some the bias calculated using this spread sheet for certain calipers may be slightly different to the bias posted here where the actual effective radius were used. Please rename the file extension to .xls if it does not work. Brake bias.csv
  4. Posted some instructions at my local forum long ago but it's all in Chinese.

There are plenty of instructions on LegacyGT.com too about removing and taking apart headlights (mostly for clearing them). Just do a search.

  5. How did you blacked out the headlight?
  6. Wow, you guys surely do have it the hard way. You can skip steps 1-7 if working on a JDM Legacy.
  7. Yep. Mine looked exactly the same too.
  8. I'm gonna try it on mine later today. Not having much hopes though since the JDM head units radio are not in American or Australian mode but rather a Japanese mode where it only goes up to 99Mhz in FM so I think our units are different.
  9. Yes, it's OBDII as I've tried data logging a BP5C with the tactrix cable before. Your's is a BP5A but BP5A to C should be all the same. From D and onwards, they are all on CANBus. Your head unit looked different to my 08MY Legacy (BP5E) so I don't think I can help you there. The unit on mine can read MP3 CD right from the factory and a line in cable could be added as an option but there is already an AUX in button on the head unit.
  10. They are starting to get pretty cheap from Japan as the model has been around for 3-4 years and is considered old. Got mine for around 160,000 Yen while the list price used to be 327,600. Since Hong Kong is pretty close to Japan, shipping was only around $100USD.
  11. Got my Rays Volk Racing Progressiv ME installed last week. 18 x 7.5j +47 offset 18.8 lb with Bridgestone Potenza RE01R 225/40R18 tires No rubbing at all even with a fully loaded car where the tires are going past the fender. (I was a little worried beforehand)
