  1. Thanks man, they were originally black but I decided to take em' apart and paint the front cage with VHT caliper paint, which is holding great. definitely makes them stand out now.
  2. You actually have to cut it out. I used a dremel with a cutting disk to get it all out in one go and then put a sanding drum on the dremel to smooth out the left over pieces. Took probably 30 mins to do and very easy. Just received the new grill in the mail today and I will be putting it on tomorrow.
  3. next up is installing the mesh grill I ordered from grill craft once it comes in!! already got rid of the stock grill mesh
  4. couple small changes while i had a little time painted the stock wheels: took the front bumper off to install some LED DRL's
  5. I want to do a darker color. I was pondering the idea of matching them to the body color of my car. I posted a picture of my car a few posts ago. What do you think? Any color suggestions?
  6. Looks great man, nice job. What method of spraying them did you use? Any special spray paint from a can? Or by using a spray gun?
  7. Those look awesome!! Do you or anyone else have any suggestions on which method would be best to paint them? I don't want to leave them matte, I would prefer to have a clear coat finish
  8. I like the look of matching the wheels to the body paint. Has anyone tried just painting the stock wheels? With all the other upgrades i'm looking to do, i have kinda a small budget
  9. I want to put some new rims on my 3.6R, anyone have any suggestions of what I should throw on it? Something that is a reasonable price? lol
