  1. Jdog81 i sent you a private message. please send along link to files or files etc. Thanks!!
  2. After the update I noticed the screen dims between every mode change. Similar to a flicker almost. Radio to source - dims and comes back to normal after 1sec. Radio to INFO - - dims and comes back to normal after 1sec. Radio 'call comes in' - dims and comes back to normal after 1sec. -BT proceeded to drop the call back to my phone for 25 seconds. - BT reconnected and took the call back to the car automatically? - Not sure this is even related to the update or just the car and iOS10.2 Is everyone experiencing this?
  3. Readers that have NOT updated yet: Can someone check to see if they can adjust the rear camera settings? I can't recall if the update did this or if we could never adjust it? Home screen/settings/display/camera.. i see all the options for brightness/contrast etc. they are all grayed out. and brightness is max. It is super bright now. Maybe i had set it a year ago and it was reset and now i dont recall how to lower the brightness again? EDIT: If you set the parking brake before navigating to this screen the settings are NOT grayed out! All set!
  4. Regarding update #2 failing: I noticed I jumped the gun on the 30sec wait. So when it says turn off DONT FORGET TO WAIT 30s. Then on restart it does the updating software please wait thing for another 3m. To confirm update #2 was successful you should scroll down on the system info window to the bottom the Db version will say 9017. If it still says 9008/5/7 etc it didn't work and re do all the steps in part 2. The video should have scrolled down at 4:30 to show the Db version which it did not so there was no confirmation part 2 was successful. And he even mentioned later it failed so we would've seen 9005 as Db version.
  5. Thanks Andrew! I see there are 2 different sets of files to download for the 2015. I have a limited with Navigation. Should I assume the files with 'Navigation' in the file name are correct? Additionally, does it matter which USB port you use on the car?
  6. rowlette - is there a calibration report you received after the cameras were re-calibrated? I'm curious to know what the official documentation looks like after calibration. It would be good to know in the event a dealer claims they were calibrated.
  7. report them to SOA. this is not acceptable. Customers RELY on knowledgeable dealers to do things by the book. what about the other 50 customers that did not know about this site, and therefore did not know to ask about re-calibration. This is bad for customers, bad for other drivers that might be impacted by miss-calibrated car, potentially bad for the technology (if is blamed for acting up) and bad for the brand.
  8. Same thing happened to my 2009 legacy. Commuted on train for years and the poor gal sat for most of the week. Eventually a rear caliper stuck from dirt, rust accumulation, lack of cleaning etc, and destroyed the new rotors that only had 12k miles on them [4yrs]. ka-ching. I will now be cleaning my brakes periodically.
  9. I assume they are built into the car, or coming over radio or perhaps gps? I get the pictures and I don't have Sirius activated or a USB-connected phone. Others have noted they have a new soundtrack, star wars, and it is not matching correctly. But some of our older music does display the correct album art.
  10. i'm excited to see the new larger subaru coming in the next few years. otherwise it might be a highlander/pilot/etc.
  11. There is a new feature in the 2015. It is based on ambient light sensor which I don't think you can override. I love it for using the lights during day time rain storms. My state requires headlights be active when using wipers so I have to turn the lights on. I set my dial to dim the gauges ~20%. When the lights are activated (either automatically or manually) the gauges will dim 20% ONLY IF the ambient sensor agrees that is it dark out. If the ambient sensor senses it is bright out, it will override your dial and keep the gauges at 100% brightness. I expect this is what you are experiencing. Try setting the dial to 50% and turn on the lights in the dark. This is a nice feature when your state requires headlight/tail lights be on when there is a need for using your wipers, IE Rain/Snow. In my experience the override only applies to the gauges. The head unit will dim to your dial setting even if the ambient sensor is overriding the dial for the gauges. I could be wrong, but I think I've witnessed this. It could be an issue if you set your dial very low. Gauges will be 100%, but your head unit will be very dim during daylight. If I'm correct, this was probably an oversight in design.. Previous Legacy's (ie my 2008), I would keep the dial at 20% and activating the headlights during the daylight hours left the gauges to dim and I had to manually dial the brightness up to 100%. Then I'd forget to dial it back down to 20% and next night drive I was adjusting it back.. I was constantly fiddling with it.

  13. Oh make sure you bring your phone to show them the part. They could not figure out what I was talking about and had never heard of people swapping out the rsb for a Subaru branded 19mm rsb accessory. Not exactly comforting. They call it a stabilizer bar. And don't forget to ask for the bushings as the parts guys see them as two different parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yep. ^^. What he said. I bought mine Wednesday. Could have bought either 19 or 20 and Guy at parts was willing to price match the website. Bought for like 104$ total. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I was just at my dealer in shrewsbury. He offered to match subaruolineparts.com and said he could get me the 19 or 20 in 1 day. I live in ma
