  1. Depending on how your running the top feed fuel lines you may actually be better off getting an aftermarket regulator. You can use the one I posted with no issues, but if using the AN ID fuel lines, something like the aeromotive regulator with AN fittings may be nice. Just a thought. Glad people are still trying this fix out. The guy who now has my old car with this set up loves it as well.
  2. Yeah, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out my issue and finally found the regulator issue. Posted it up hoping it could help others too. Unfortunately I only drove on it for a few weeks before I totaled my car, but hopefully it's a long term fix for some!
  3. This type of customer service is why I had pretty much every Grimmspeed part they make for a Legacy on my car. I'll keep it in mind, and thank you again!
  4. Wait for a year for it to come out....comes out one week after I total my car:spin:
  5. I played with the duty cycles. The regulator cant bypass enough fuel at low load driving with the pump at 100%, my fuel pressure is pretty high like that. I talked to DW and they said there pumps are completely fine with the duty cycles as long as its a minimum of 7v if I member correctly. My STI regulator is still working just as I had hoped
  6. ^ that is true, however the Cobb kit is also for the 08+ sti that has the fuel comp tables.
  7. I have not thus far. Most who do mess with the tune, have 07+ STI/WRX/LGT where they added a fuel comp table, and they adjust or 0 that out. In 05/06 we dont have that.
  8. Nice to hear! I was planning on making a bracket as well, but wanted to make sure it worked right first, and have not gotten around to the bracket part now haha.
  9. I posted pics in the orignal post with #'s, but this is the link [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-800-120-Fuel-Connector/dp/B000CIT1C8]Amazon.com: Dorman 800-120 Fuel Connector: Automotive[/ame] I honestly have been crazy busy, I have not had time to get my laptop and hook it up to do a log. I have my accessport in the car and have a few gauges open, as well as I keep an eye on my wideband. From what I can tell, everything is perfect thus far. My AF learning has never got +- more than a few %, my wideband reads perfect through my entire RPM and boost range.
  10. Interestingly really only my A was high, others were within the +-5% range. Not saying its your BOV recirc line, just trying to give an example.
  11. Have you actually smoke tested the car? I had AF learning that was pretty high, around 10-11%, I boost leak checked the car 10 times trying to find leaks but never could find it. I ended up having a tiny tear in my BOV return line that we were finally able to find with smoke. Its amazing how small of a leak will create a 10% AFL.
  12. Yes the car will still fire that plug. If your dumping gas in (aka stuck open injector) your oil will smell like gas usually. If this is the case, careful you dont wash the cylinder walls or your gonna be replacing the engine. You can also try swapping injectors while your in there looking at the coil. There not too hard to swap.
  13. I have not read through this thread, but are you sure you have spark in the cylinder? Pulling the injector is a classic trick to see if the cylinder is working, but after finding that its not, you still need to figure out spark, or fuel
  14. I can do a log. I don't have a old one showing with the stock regulator though. It dident move the stumble, it just reduced it greatly. Also somethin to consider, this was with my mods, and my tune. It could be different with stock injectors or other mods.
  15. They seem to work well so far. No leaks, seem well built. I did order a 5th one just as a spare because I dident know, but after getting them and installing, I am not worried at all. Car is still doing well, AF learning does not swing more than +- 1.56%
