  1. My rears only last about 50,000K and the fronts I just replaced at 101,000 K. I believe the rear also has a smaller pad.
  2. Local dealer wanted $550 to replace a rear bearing, went to a local shop that that works on a lot of subaru's he charged $340.
  3. 96,000 and I do not burn even 1/2 qt between changes. I change my oil at 5200-5500 miles. And I did replace the PCV a short time ago.
  4. So what does everyone like for rotor and pad replacements? OE? I need to do front and back in a couple of months.
  5. I think they are reliable 90,000 and have not even done the front brakes. Just maintenance. Easy oil changes every 5,000
  6. I put on michelin premier 2 years ago, they were good the first summer the second summer they have become VERY noisy. I will pass on them next time. I run separate rims and snows in the winter. I have heard the goodyear comfort tread are quiet and handle good. Good luck on your search.
  7. Call subaru and explain the problem to them. They took great care of me when my Legacy was out of warrenty. Read my earlier post.
  8. My 2016 legacy battery died and the car would not unlock with the key. So I went through the trunk.I replaced the battery with a group 34. I then called Subaru to see if they would cover having a tech see why the door would not unlock with the key, after explaining what happened they told me to scan a copy of the battery sales receipt and send it to them they also called my dealer of choice to check on the door and do battery update, So I received a refund for the battery and had everything else taken care of. I had 44,000 and was out of warranty. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
  9. I put group 34 in my Legacy, but as ammcinnis said a 24 will also fit.
  10. For what it's worth, My 2019 5.7 Tundra uses 0-20 oil. I am not concerned at all about the weight of the oil.
  11. I stay with 0-20 BUT I change it at 5,000 or a hair over. Never have gone to 6,000. I now have 80,000 on my 16 and it does not use oil.
  12. My battery kept dying in 2016.My wife got stuck at work so i put in a 34 the next day, 42 month ac delco. The stock battery is way undersized.
