  1. Thanks Terry! http://imgur.com/a/MiR2W https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8XwZZzYSdQ&feature=youtu.be
  2. Dammit I dropped a snow shovel off my garage wall and it landed on the rear quarter panel of my Shelby... Looks like I'll make my annual trip to Terry this week. This will be my 5th visit or so... the guy is a magician.
  3. FWIW, I think they would. They flat out won't do any custom work or work with aftermarket products, but if your stuff is OEM, they'll fix it. They've done all kinds of work on my LGT, Shelby, Wrangler, and Infiniti. Plus, one really great thing about Firestone is the "fix it or it's free guarantee". You won't pay 1 penny for labor or parts if they don't fix your problem. I took my Wrangler into them 6 months ago for a rotational squeak/squeel. Their best bet was the idler pulley. They changed the pulley, but it failed to resolve the issue. I went back the next day and got a full refund for the parts and labor (even though I got the new part). I took it again a few weeks later for another stab at it and it was the water pump. If I were you I'd take it in to them and just let them discover the problem and deal with it.
  4. +1 Again for Scott with Auto Glass Authority.. he's now replaced 3 windshields for me. I use Firestone for alignments on all my cars. I buy the lifetime alignment for every vehicle and ask them to align it every time it is in (for oil changes, tire rotations, etc). If you own your vehicle for more than a year or two lifetime is the no-brainer way to go.
  5. +1 Terry rocks. I've now had 4 vehicles to him and 5-6 total visits.
  6. Buying yet another windshield from Auto Glass Authority (Scott, 303-517-2796). I was out racing the Shelby at Bandi tonight and a gust of wind caught my hood, ripped it off the hydraulic supports and threw it into the windshield. Dammit. I'm lucky that there is zero damage to the hood, other than the hydraulic supports and a single small paint chip. Anyhow, Scott's the man...
  7. That is SUCH a nice power curve, Dave. Peak torque by 3900rpms and that 350whp just holds so steady for 2000rpms! No drop off up top. Very pretty!
  8. Finally... the operative word! Congrats, Dave. Are you planning a web presence?
  9. Whoa I need to go to your track. There is one damn dragstrip here. Gates open at 4pm but people start lining up at 3pm. If you get there early you can maybe get 5 runs in for the night (around once an hour). But if you don't get there until 5:30-6pm you should get 2 runs but a 3rd run is unlikely.
  10. ^^ Cute video. My daughter, 8yo, still likes it too and eggs me on, which drives the wife crazy.
  11. This is the best thread going. Love the pictures and narrative. Definitely confirms that I will never try this on my own but wish I had the skills and time to do it. Cheers.
  12. Wow nice 60' of 1.75! You and your car are doing a fine job on the 1/8th and overall looks fantastic, but it looks like there is room to improve on the back half. Just 20mph gain isn't great for as quick as your car is.
  13. http://beeez.com/lgt/1243at111.jpg Ambient Temp: 50F Elevation: 5860' (yes, more than a mile high) Weather: Clear Car: '05 LGT Un-Limited (Spec C) Tuner: Self Track info: Bandimere Speedway Transmission: 5speed Peak Horse Power at RPM: 5300 Peak Torque at RPM: 4100 Fuel: E85 Engine/Power Modifications: BNR68, TMIC, catted DP, SPT cbe, Perrin TMIC, PE850's Driveline Modifications: ACT clutch Suspension Modifications: BC Racing Coilovers Other Modifications: Child seat This was actually a really bad racing day for me as I lost power every run with ~100ft to go and coasted through the finish. The car ripped out the 1/8' in less than 8.0s at 90mph but due to heatsoaking it would pull timing and studder around 110mph, at which point I let off throttle and coasted. Very frustrating and this is pretty evident by the fact that I only gained 22mph on the back half! I think 12.2x at 113.x would have been possible if I could have finished a run. I went another day, prior to this, with temps at 88F hit 12.46@112mph so was really disappointed that I didn't crush my previous record rather than just eek out a slightly better e.t. but worse trap. On the 88F day I was gaining 25mph on the back half so really "shoulda" been hitting easy 114's the nice cool day. See my vbgarage for some of my dragracing videos and times on various setups.
