  1. Well.. I went and bought Ecsta XS tires, which just can't get sticky on a cold & wet track (my two track days so far were wet or damp in 33-38F weather). I am very much looking forward to a dry and warmer day to really test them out. I need to save up some money for various things right now anyway (including both of my cars), so it's a useful excuse
  2. I saw... I need to save my money for so many other things right now. I'll be out there once the weather is nicer.
  3. We do need more people. I'm sure I'll be at the Ridge several times this year once the weather warms up a little more. I'm hoping to have suspension in a few months as well.. much needed
  4. you still would have had to have put a lot of money into it.. guaranteed. Even so.. putting money into a car that's already pretty good is better than putting money into a car that isn't as good to start, imo.
  5. I should be at the October 20th TNT for sure.. and hopefully either October 27th or November 3rd. I need to try and fix a few more oil leaks on the car before I push it too much. I'll make an effort to get to a few of the spring TNT's as well. Now that I have the car.. the budget will be split pretty evenly between working on it and abusing it at the track
  6. I see.. maybe they're doing that work after the November 10th TNT. That explains why it looks like the fall TNT's are cut a bit short. I can't imagine having PR repaved.. too weird. I'm all for less tire wear though.
  7. like I said.. it was $100/day fall last year, and then $125/day in spring this year. I'm hoping they don't raise the price further. what paving? I'll definitely be at as many track days as I can next year. I really missed out this year by having to save up for the M3
  8. Pacific Raceways test n tunes start back up in late October.. the cost was $100. last year and then $125 this last spring. I'm planning on being there a couple of times in the M3. You know you want to do it
  9. yeah, I was really pleased to see how good the Ridge was on my brakes and tires. PR just tears tires to pieces. That said... I like all of the tracks I've driven so far. Variety is good
  10. look into Chuckanut Sports Car Club as well.. they run regular autox events in Bellingham (much closer for me than Bremerton)
  11. I've done both.. I enjoy autocross, but I love being on the track. I'd be racing right now if I could.
  12. going to guess you're talking about Eli?
  13. I haven't paid attention to the vortex for a long time.. I started a new site (PNWfahren) that's more brand-agnostic and PNW-specific. I just hang out with the people here because they're cool and like wagons
  14. your name looks familiar... good people here, good luck
