  1. Finally going to sell my XT she has been an amazing car for me but with gas prices it makes no sense as a commuter for as far as I drive everyday. She has a few things going on right now that need to be addressed. Oil cooler gasket needs to be replaced to stop a slow leak. I just replaced the front sway bar endlinks and bushings and now I’m getting a clunky noise when turning and upon inspection I found a torn pass side cv boot 2006 Subaru Outback XT Limited -5 Speed MT -Cold Weather Package -Full Legacy Gt Suspension Conversion -Full 2017 WRX STI exhaust system -New motor and turbo at ~89K immediately pulled all banjo bolt filters and had it tuned conservative stage 2 -Oil changed every 5k with Rotella T6 -Aftermarket Intercooler(rev 9) -new injectors and coil packs -Full LED interior and door lighting -Cleared headlights with HID conversion and proper aiming done so you don’t blind people -grimmspeed shortshifter -transmission blast plates -new wheel bearings all around less than a year ago -217k on body 130k on motor this is my first posting I will upload more pictures and details as I go through everything this weekend. Has boxes of parts that can go with the sale including new head unit with aux in. Spare up pipe stock taillights lgt brake calipers roof racks another set of wheels(STI five spoke) with one season old blizzacks hoping someone on here will want to out a little work into her and keep getting as much enjoyment out of her as I did for the last ten years
  2. Makes sense I have been on the Cobb site and I’m not trying to spend 1200 bucks at the moment but 5-600 would be doable
  3. Okay this has to be a scam/mistake correct? https://www.godpt.com/products/turbo-turbocharger-fit-subaru-impreza-wrx-2008-2009-2010-2011-2012-2013-2014?variant=32144153018486&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2smwwarW9wIV2xatBh2TQAG-EAQYBCABEgKiN_D_BwE
  4. Well you’ve convinced me. Time to pull the trigger on a VF-52
  5. Thanks for the reply. Yes brand new vf40 90k ago always good on oil changes nothing but rotella t6 every time. I have been considering the vf52 for a while considering I already have the supporting mods. May still have to even though it’s not neeeded haha
  6. Okay so looking for opinions here. I have a 2006 obxt 5mt w/187k on the body and 90k on new engine and turbo. When I had the new motor and turbo out in I immediately had a tune out on it from tuning alliance and the tune and motor have run flawlessly since. With 90k on the turbo I was thinking of replacing the stock turbo with a vf52 and an updated tune just to be on the same side of having my old turbo fail. Any thoughts? I drive pretty conservative and mostly freeway with the stage two upgraded fuel pump injectors and TMIC it’s been great. Just want to keep this old girl going for as many miles as I can. Thanks in advance. Cheers
  7. Getting ready to go to a VF 52 and i am trying to find a local shop to rebuild the one i just purchased...any recommendations would be awesome As close to West Seattle as possible
  8. Audio head unit with the factory aux in? And what turbos you have around searching for a vf52 and also an aftermarket intercooler.
  9. Are you trying to sell any of the items pictured in the back ? Been looking for a TMIC
  10. Okay, im stuck. 2006 OBXT brand new engine/turbo 85K ago. Tuned by tuning alliance never had an issue for the last 85K ...had misfire code come up on cylinder #3....okay so go through the elimination process replace all four plugs, injectors and coil packs with brand new spec parts. Do pressure check on all cylinders...all good all within spec and 5PSI of each other. Go to start it back up and runs rough for a min or two then dies (doesnt throw a code) Go to start it back up and it wont turn over...just locked up. I pull spark plugs and find cylinder#3 full of gas...pull all plugs drain oil replace all plugs check and realize i forgot to put a fuse back in..anyway reset everything and restart...fires up but runs suuuuper rough and a bit of white smoke...turn it off Still no codes thrown..not sure where to go from here. My thought process is that maybe when i tried to crank it with a cylinder full of fuel it hydro locked the motor and possibly jumped timing? any input would be great getting sick of dealing with this thing it may get the for sale sign soon unless i can get this sorted...thanks in advance
  11. Yeah going to tear into her tomorrow and see what I find...will keep this post updated. Hav new injectors on the way
  12. Engine has ~60k injectors about the same
  13. That could def be it. I’m going to pull them out and see
