Ok I think I am set to go on the pods as far as confirming fitment and whatnot. Just waiting for one local guy to come pick up the single pod that I have printed to make sure everything works in the car. It all works out of the car and whatnot but I just want to check. Been really busy in general so I haven't had much time to work on these or work on getting them set up for a group buy on here. Sorry Should be set up to go soon -

I will post a link for it once I have it set up. I have a vent that I mirrored but I'm not sure if it is going to be the same thing as a RHD dash? Can you see what the part number on your vent is? The LHD driver vent part number for me is: 66115AG01B and the passenger side is: 66115AG00B. If the vent on your side is the same then I can print out the mirrored model of the vent that I have and see if it fits the same. I don't want to print out a full model and find out it wont work. -

Here's the pictures he sent me of the dual mount. Looks like this one is good to go also You can see where he had to make the tube bigger to fit his entire connector through it since it was already all wired into the car. http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/received_10154296402914706_zpsvbdq4r74.jpeg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/received_10154296404484706_zpsna2niryz.jpeg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/received_10154296409889706_zpsaz3hwkz3.jpeg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/received_10154296409874706_zpsocmrj3wv.jpeg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/received_10154296409964706_zpstp0r7azc.jpeg I thought I took pictures of the stuff but I got a material sample kit to see what some of the different colors and stuff would look like if anyone wanted a different color. I will talk to the admins and see what all needs to be done to get the group buy all set up. There's a few vent mounts on thingverse that are available too. Is yours different? -

It was talked about. I do have a V3 scanned that I will be making a mount for once these are done. I was planning on doing a v2 and v3 style mount. Have you tried looking on any of the 3d printing sites that host all kinds of models? Got some pictures of the single pod with wires in it. The gauge I had was from my truck and has really long mounting studs on it so it doesn't fit all the way in. Other than that everything fits awesome and there is a lot of room for the wires in the tube. With that being said I think the single one is good to go http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213306053_zpskzqe2lmd.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213311855_zpsedmwcfw0.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213327523_zpsl9zhxmt3.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213419723_zpspjjv8rcv.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213425896_zpsxuoo1ato.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213433723_zpsyqffkpq4.jpg Here's a picture of one of the older revisions of the dual pod with the small wire tube going to the middle of the gauges with the same gauge. Still looks like there is quite a bit of room for wires. However, the guy that has the current dual one said that there wasn't enough room for wires to both of the gauges which doesn't make sense. Waiting for some pictures from him. http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160601_213940016_zpszpyssh5s.jpg -

Alright have a few more test fit pictures. The guy that is testing my dual pod is working on getting me some pictures with gauges installed. He had to cut the "wire tube" a bit to fit his connector for his AFR gauge since it was already installed and routed. Otherwise he said he wouldn't have needed to cut it. I think I have a few gauges laying around that I can play with tonight. Look what came in yesterday One of my kittens felt the need to be annoying and get in my pictures haha. Now I just need to test fit them and make sure everything fits/works as it should. After that I will get the group buy set up. http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182109936_zpsvs34kjmc.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182135659_zpsp7k0hdlo.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182140397_zps7fxyjiiv.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182146754_zpsxehwft4t.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182151022_zpsh9mvkqa6.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182156787_zpstlhxkzdv.jpg http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/IMG_20160523_182159709_zpscwltumtt.jpg -

I did not make them for right hand drive but I can mirror the model and it should fit the same for the RHD guys. The other models should be here in a day or two so I can confirm everything works. After that I can mirror one and have it printed to check it. I am not sure if I can just put it on the passenger side of a LHD car though. -

I'm going to order one of each first just to confirm everything before I set up the group buy. I don't want to go ahead and order a bunch just to find out there is an issue with them or something. I guess I never thought about doing that. Nice simple idea! -

Is that from the bracket I sent you? Looks like it turned out well. I'm curious to see how the ABS holds up to the heat from the headlights. I was hesitant so I just had them waterjet out of aluminum. Also, I'm sure people are curious on updates for the pod. I have been really busy with work, class, and working on my car, lately so I haven't had much time to get on here. I am thinking that I will order 1 of each of the pods first to make sure everything fits properly and needs no changes. Then if I need to make changes or there is an issue, I don't have a bunch of pods that don't work right. With that being said, does anyone else forsee and issues with the pods before I send for the pair to be printed? -

Yea I did some looking and found them So you are talking something like this? Obviously more refined but I just wanted to see if this is along the lines of what you were talking about. http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/Vent%20pod/Capture_zpsxijkdzu6.jpg -

What are VDO gauges? Are you talking about the lip where the 52mm gauge is? Threads are doable but I didn't make much of a lip on there. More or less just enough so that it will fit all 52mm gauges with some filing/sanding. I didn't want the hole to be too big and have the gauges be loose since it seems like there is quite a variance in size. -

I think I might order 2 more (one of the single pod and one of the updated dual pod) just to confirm everything before I make the group buy. Any other suggestions from anyone? I did put a radius on the outer edge like Evan suggested. -

For which model? The dual or the single? The dual is open between the two gauge mounts if that is what you are asking. I guess the cutaway I took a pic of on the dual initially wasn't from the same orientation as the single. Here's a better pic. http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/ab114/gearhead_18/dual%2052%20cutaway_zpsag2gry2w.jpg I made the gauge openings slightly smaller than 52mm since I've noticed a bit of a variation in gauge size. It's rather easy to just sand/file out the little bit you need for each gauge. Yea I was thinking about that too but I didn't want to make it too much of a radius. I'll play around with it.
