  1. I used both washers. Refilled the engine with oil. Seems fine. Just wondering if there is anything else I should do.
  2. Just did this. Must have dropped one of the washers when I was pulling it (11pm couldn't see well). Smart move. Put it back together and let it idle and it spewed oil and I must have lost a quart or two before I could shut her off. Found the other washer this morning and proceeded to attempt again and it seems pretty tight. No oil leakage and oil levels are stable after driving about 20 miles. RPMs from 1500-4000. I am just afraid it is going to leak and then there goes my turbo. Anything I should be worried about? Will a compression/leak down test do me any good? I am just afraid it is going to
  3. I heard that. I think as long as you seal the white cover back tight you won't have to worry about moisture getting into the motor and seizing it up.
  4. You have to switch the armature out for sure. Tried it without switching it out and it just spins. Switched them out and worked like a charm. Thanks for the info guys!

  6. I don't know how to take the white piece apart from the motor. I didn't want to break it and I don't know where these "tabs" are to seperate the two pieces.
  7. To the people who have bought the eBay replacement motors.... Can you just replace the entire motor without replacing the internals? I am asking because I cannot get the motor apart to clean and/or replace. Are there any risks just replacing the whole motor or is it just not physically possible because of size? Thanks!
