  1. So what's the best option for my 6.2L F150? Twin or a single GIANT turbo?
  2. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOlYtLezDlc][HOLY SH*T] CHEVY CAMARO ON 32 INCH RIMS - MUST SEE!!! - YouTube[/ame]
  3. I've got a carPC you can buy Basically everything you need except the monitor. Give ya a good price too.
  4. Even if you get something that will allow you to display the laptop on the Nav screen, you will still not have the touchscreen capability.
  5. Just keep your eyes open for people selling whole setups on forums Like me The whole reason I went with full factory integration is just to avoid the quirks that carPC's have. It really is nice to just jump in the car and it all works with little to no learning curve or hassle.
  6. I missed this post, sorry That bezel will NOT work for a GT. That will only work on a 2.5i because they have single zone climate controls with knobs. You cannot custom fab the controls in there either because the actual climate controls are built into the radio unit itself. It's quite an involved process. Dont worry about cable length, you wont have any issues running the wires all the way from the back of the trunk. Degredation doesnt play an issue here.
  7. You should just buy my CarPC in my FS thread lol Already has the custom fabbed stuff and all the cables.
  8. He's also working for Borg Warner helping with development on the EFR turbos, works for SOA, and is a robot from the future!
  9. She's trying to look enthused about a non-JDMyo vehicle and not pulling it off well. Put her in a bikini on any JDM vehicle and watch that face light up
  10. That's not for a full setup, if you were interested in the full setup. The $250 price is doing the same thing that IPT does, add a spring and a resistor plus labor (if I read that correctly). The full kit would definitely be more than that. I think I read the trans-go kit alone was $250, add in labor and R&D and the project wont be anywhere near $250, but ClimberD did mention similar price (hopefully better) than IPT.
  11. I'd like to consider myself an impartial party I wont be ashamed to give you feedback either way. Considering I did have a 5EAT at one time as well, I've got a little memory of what it used to be like, and having ridden in your IPT VB and stock VB car I should be able to provide some useful feedback for the rest of the people here as well. I'm hoping it wont be a waste of your time, and I really do think that you'll be able to offer a fantastic service if... what am I saying... WHEN you get the kinks worked out.
  12. ClimberD can jump in and clear it up if I'm wrong: Changing a VB in itself wouldnt make the transmission hold more power, just like putting a short throw shifter on a 5MT wont make the clutch any stronger. The 5EAT is still bound by the laws of physics, and since you're not swapping out the clutch packs for the gears, it wont actually make the holding power any stronger. However, the maximum holding power will remain much longer, preserving the life of the clutch packs themselves.
  13. I dont have a 5EAT, but I can attest to the high standards of ClimberD. If he says he's going to get something done and at standard X, you can be assured that it will meet or exceed that standard. While he may take a little longer on some aspects (ah... the external wastegate, ) it is assured to be professional and perfect. He obsesses about things you will never see and that provide 0 gain, so when it comes to things that actually help performance or that you'll see, well you know where this is going.
  14. There's a vendor on here that sells this setup as a full bolt on kit, you have to send back your stock suspension after the swap to get the core charge back. It's like 1250 total with 150 back when he gets your stock suspension back.
