  1. I did this swap over a few nights after work, with the help of this forum including m sprank. Its doable, just take your time. I have pics if anything may help that you dont see on the forum.
  2. Yep from what I've been reading its normal. I got P0546 Exhaust gas temp sensor circuit malfunction, since I gutted my up, and P0420 Catalyst system below threshold, since I also gutted my downpipe. I've done the resistor mod to fix the 1st code just gotta get a working vagcom to get rid of the 2nd one.
  3. I ended up bending the bridge between the lines til they lined up, probably should have cut it. I had alot of smoke from coolant i spilled on the up for about 100 miles now it has finally burned off. I have 2 cel's one for the EGT and one for the cat, since I gutted both the up and 1st cat in the down pipe. Cel's are next on my list of things to do.
  4. Just did the same install and fired mine up, I'm just chasing down a couple small leaks now.
  5. Hi Dave I will be installing a 16g w/ gutted up and down and ebcs. Would this setup be considered stg 3 according to your pricing? Would driving for a week before starting the tune process (waiting for payday) staying out of boost, 20miles a day round trip be severly detrimental to my motor? Thanks for your time.
  6. Word, if I don't go down to Ft. Bragg this weekend i'll come up that way and check it out.
  7. No local forums that I know of but a good shop is turbotime, located in Cary.
  8. Nominated for response of the yr.
  9. No events in NC this summer?
  10. What up, don't think I ever posted in the thread, I've seen a couple of modded leggys in the area, just saying whats up.
