  1. anything designed for the LGT will be a couple inches shorter than Outback speck dampers. Here is the stock dampers from obxt and LGT for reference: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y142/ForceFedGTI/Cars/IMG_0153.jpg
  2. That is an extensive swap. I am still running with the stock LGT springs, dampers and rear bump stops.
  3. Yes, u need to change them. You will be riding on the stock ones otherwise.
  4. It does indeed seem to be better when i turn the volume down to 50-75% depending on the file/song being played. I don't know the output specs on the ipod classic headphone jack vs the Blackberry Torch and Samsung Captivate that didn't have any SQ issues...
  5. I have a question on the input. When I use my Blackberry with the input, it sounds great (also with an Android phone I had). When I use my Ipod (Classic 160gb), the sound quality is horrible. Is the volume from the headphone jack on the ipod too much at full volume or is it not loud enough and in need of a headphone amp?
  6. I'm assuming the LGT suspension will be softer than the Megan Racing setup. Usually the way it works with aftermarket suspensions vs. stock.
  7. +1 to that. There is a reason so many of us are willing to lose the ride hight and go with a stock LGT suspension.
  8. lol, yeah, I did this mod before I knew we were moving here lol...we were in Arkansas
  9. No, it is on regular jack stands farther towards the front of the car. The factory jack is just holding the spindle up.
  10. yeah sorry, I had 225/45's on my GTI. not used to saying 225/55 yet lol.
  11. outbackxt05, I went to my local Subi dealer for the alignment. Have you gotten your alignment done yet? Rix, 235 will be pushing it, let alone 245. Not sure how it will be with your wheels and offset though. The standard 225/45 17's for the outback are REALLY close to the front spring perches as it is. ssbtech, you'd need a different rear setup from the Specb anyway since the specB is sedan only. (someone correct me if i'm wrong) Unless you have an outback sedan of course.
