  1. SOA said the same as dealer, they wouldn't cover it because recall was completed. There was a 1yr/unlimited mileage warranty from the time of the recall completed that the agent told me. So I'm outside of the coverage window and nothing he can do. He documented the case, and I filed a complaint with NHTSA where I see other people complaining about the brake issue post recall as well, maybe if enough people file complaints another recall can happen. But for now I think i'll look through this thread to see if I can fix myself or tow the car to a 3rd party shop to get it fixed. Since the 1st brake recall my LGT has been a summer only car and averages ~5k miles a year. So I really think the corrosion was already started before the recall.
  2. My 08' LGT with 125k miles brake line just failed at the rear clip like previous posts pictures. Saw the brake light come on while driving, I tapped the brakes lightly and checked if ebrake was up a few times and the light went away for a bit before it finally stayed on while driving. I thought maybe it was a sensor since light taps and braking seemed fine. I guess when I was tapping and testing the brakes over and over, I was just pumping all the fluid out of the back and could barely stop when I actually had to use the brakes to come to a complete stop. I had both brake recalls done by the dealer before. Once in 2013 @ ~89k miles and the other in 2014 @ ~97k miles. I didn't tow the car to the dealer, but called them up and they said it wont be covered and was told contact SOA customer service to see if there is anything they will do. Im going to file with complaint with NHTSA and call SOA Monday.
  3. I think the service adviser told me they are going through the glove box to do the replacement. But not sure. Ill try to get more info when I go in tomorrow.
  4. I dropped my 05' wagon off today, they told me about new procedure w/o pulling the dash. hopefully that works fine. I rather them not mess with my cubby gauges in my 08' sedan that Ill bring in tomorrow morning for the recall. Downside would be that Ill still have dash rattle on both cars I guess.
  5. Lets hope so, both of my LGT's have dash rattle. Id pay for the clips too, but maybe they would be breaking some anyways when removing the dash.
  6. Finally got my car back from the shop to install the Full Race TS 7163 kit. Car is currently running a base map so I can break in the new motor and clutch. Hopefully everything holds up fine when it goes in for the final tune next weekend.
  7. Thanks I wonder if they fixed your fitment issues on the current FR kits or if thats the same issues the shop Im working with is running into.
  8. Does anyone have the Full Race EFR Twin Scroll kit installed on their LGT? The shop I am having installing it, says there is not enough room to clear the strut tower for the inlet. otherwise itll just be a very tight bend for the inlet.
  9. Wagon has got worse with misfires. Car is very rough at idle, but smooths out as soon as I am on the gas. I did some logging with Tactrix cable and saw at idle cyl 2 misfire/roughness counts just kept going up, all other cyl at 0. But as soon as I hold revs at about 1500rpms or higher 0 misfires even on cyl 2. The car has started making ticking/rattling sound from the engine at idle as well, but goes away with the revs like misfires. Any idea what it could be? i tried swapping injectors with a used set of injectors from STI also put in new coil pack but nothing fixed it. also replaced both oil control valves, 1 was bad for sure. Could it be burnt valve? or intake manifold O ring going to cyl 2?
  10. Makes me think if I should of got the SS EFR 7163 instead of the twin scroll version. oh well gone too far now.
  11. I wonder if somehow I can get this to work the Full Race EFR 7163 Twin scroll kit.
  12. At Alpine Valley Ski Resort this past Saturday. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Bbc84/Legacy%20GT/IMG_20141122_150006_zps6c60ad7d.jpg
  13. I replaced both OCV and my misfires went away. used tatrix cable and watched the 2 vales related to OCV metric on each bank. Noticed 1 bank was not keeping up or getting stuck, compare to the other. I just replace both at same time.
