  1. Here you go http://www.autospeedperformance.com/subaru/LegacyGT/aspsu-legctbk.htm I'm not sure about the hangers but for the extra grand i'd skip the hangers but thats just me. IMO there is not an exhuast system on the face of this earth worth 2K. I've always thought this was one of the nicest systems out there for the money.
  2. HAHAHA !! I just found this out on my own tonight. I saw the compressor not kicking on so I opened up the fusebox. There sat a blue relay with the prongs facing up. I take it out and flip it over putting it in it's resting place and bingo the compressor comes on instantly. Dam fewlz at the dealership................. I put a pocket probe thermometer in the dash vent and the temp got to 49 degrees. My buddies 97 Maxima with 97,000 miles cranked out 42 degree air. Wonder if the system needs to run a bit otherwise the system is still not up to snuff. The air temp coming out before the relay was fixed was 60 degrees with it on max cold (65/65 left it on recirc.
  3. I guess I have a defective AC as I have the same issue as F1anatic. Today it was not that hot maybe 60 degrees but the car sat in the sun all day while I was at work. I got inside and it was warm in there at least 75 degrees maybe a bit more. Anyway I set it to auto and dropped the dial to 65 the fans went to max and warm air comes out. I try manual again at 65 and warm air. I change to fresh air instead of recirc. and the air cools a bit due to the outside air being cooler. As soon as I go to recirc it was warm agian. I noticed a problem over the weekend when it was raining at night and the windshield fogged up. I dropped the temp to 65 and put it on defrost and warm air kept coming out. This is when I started to think there may be a problem. Think I may have to visit the dealer?
  4. Any car I have had in the past with AC kicked the compressor on when the windsheild defrost was activated. I am not sure I buy into the AC system on the Legacy going into "can come on if needed state". Heres my point if you put the car in Auto mode and the AC is displayed open the door at idle and listen to the motor carefully. Reach over and press the AC button (turning it off and placing the system in semi-auto mode). I hear the compressor turn off. Just the same as if I activate then deactivate the AC system manually. Unless I may be hearing the electric fan coming on when the AC light comes on regardless of if the compressor is running or not. I will investigate more tommorow with the hood up and another head in there. One thing is for sure something is running when the AC light comes on in full auto mode and seems to be running full time.
  5. This is an old post I see but I just had my LGT do this same thing to me after the third day of ownership. Difference was I shut the car off right then and there and restarted it and as above everything was good to go. Has not done it again.
  6. I have a question even after reading through this post. When I get in the car and it is cold out (below 50 degrees) and I set the temp in Auto mode to 70 degrees the heat comes on and stays on for a bit. Then after it warms up in the car the AC comes on. Whats the deal with that? Does the system over heat the cabin then try to cool it?
  7. If you were to get in an ice cold car in the morning lets say it was 25 degrees all night and start the car set it to auto and 65 degrees it would not blow warm air (even after the engine is up to running temp) to heat the car to 65 degrees? Same senario but in the summer you get in the car after it has baked in the sun with the windows up all day in 100 degree heat. Start it up set it to auto and 85 degrees the AC would not come on to cool the car to 85 degrees?
