  1. I wouldn't eliminate any possibilities, but start with the more obvious things like loose heat shields first.
  2. That's a serious backlog but more than a week or so is excessive in getting heads reworked. They should be done sooner rather than later
  3. Lol. I'll probably reuse them. I really like the sound. I just diy the bracket and connections. The horns are pretty cheap on their own.
  4. Happened last Tuesday but honestly nothing happened to me at all. Didn't feel any after effects. Slightly embarrassing to get into an accident where I lost control because of snow/ice. http://i.imgur.com/phHTwPq.jpg
  5. Pains me to say it but I'm pretty sure my GT will be getting totaled by my insurance. I walked away without a scratch not even shaken up a bit. The car between age, milage, and damage will probably be a total loss. The car gave me trouble but I still enjoyed driving it so much.
  6. Ej25 doesn't have either of those. Lobes from the cam ride on the buckets to open the valves. Definitely want to double check your clearance when you torque everything back down and you may need to replace buckets to get the right clearance.
  7. I live in MA and they salt the crap out of the roads. My car has lived in MA it's entire life. The subframe has spots with some surface rust, but no place at all is it rusted through.
  8. Made my own bracket from a steel tie from home depot. Little bit of primer and rattle can flat black. Not the best picture6 http://i.imgur.com/KLRFEIc.jpg Wired it myself. Just used the relay that came with the horns. Fused 12V from battery, signal from factory horn wire, and a ground for the relay. It's not super neat in a loom but it's not a rats nest either. There are guides on wiring them up.
  9. I have the sharptones and I definitely dig the sound. It's only been a little less than two years so far but holding up well
  10. 10LGT You'll definitely hear more noise from the transmission with the mount and the polyurethane transmission crossmember bushings. It's not obnoxious and the positive engagement feel is worth it imo. I spot your ride from time to time in New Bedford
  11. Flywheel on 5th gen is single mass anyway so a new flywheel for you. I just had mine resurfaced when I did my clutch.
  12. I'm running Akebono ceramics in the front. Put those in when I did my front brakes and painted the calipers recently. Very happy with them for daily use.
  13. Hold the window up/down button until hitting both limits. Once or twice. Should be fine after that.
