  1. I think this might be it. I googled it and found a video of a bad diff. Sounds like the noise i'm hearing. Will get that looked at. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the advice. I will get that looked at.
  3. I have an 2008 LGT 5EAT. Not sure if its the 100% transmission or something else, but there's a weird noise when accelerating. I guess the best way to explain the noise is it sounds like a reverse noise, but not as long. The noise pitch increase as i accelerate and goes away when I'm at a steady speed or left off the gas. Noise pitch does not change when changing gears. Any ideas what it can be?
  4. I'm not like the 08 5eat... Maybe its just my car, but i feel that it doesn't shift properly... Between 2nd-3rd, it revs high before shifting. Then 3rd-4th shifts way early... I did a relearn and it worked for a bit, but feeling sluggish again... =T
  5. Have: 08 QSM Winged Want: QSM Wingless Orange County, CA
  6. Dunno if it's the "best", but it doesn't take long at all. Itzme did mine within a few minutes.
  7. Does the pipe need to be removed to screw the stock intake box to the car? Or can you access it w/ the pipes there?
  8. It only sounds "LOUDER" when I'm pushing it/higher boost. Normal driving sounds fine. Might be the "2nd the RacerX FMIC w/ stock intake box".
  9. Now that more of us have it on, does anyone notice a louder spooling sound (slightly a higher pitch)? Just wanted to see if it was just me. All I have in is an intake, up and down pipes. I've tightened all the clamps and bolts.
  10. ^ Yup. It's doesn't look off til you stare @ it and even then, it's only like 1/2" or so.
  11. Mines a little to the left also, but not as much as yours. You might want to try shoving the IC into the pipe more. My IC is pretty touching the pipe (inside the couplet) .If you put your front plate on, you might not notice it as much?
  12. Thanks again for the intall Bryan! To everyone who purchased this FMIC, IT FITS JUST FINE! NO MAJOR MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED! I'm not sure if i mis-read/misunderstood, but there is a little bit of cutting/trimming required. I think my misunderstanding come from "No trimming on the re-enforcement. There are 2 small sections that needed to be cut off and the bumper needed some trimming (on my 06 at least). After that, everything fitted just as Bryan said it would. Took about 2.5 hr for everything. Bryan has pix of what needs to be cut/trimmed.
  13. Here's some info. I read previously somewhere in there that it doesn't work, but they could have a found a way. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46539 http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49449 Hope that's some help
