  1. Let me know if there is already a thread like this. But I couldn’t find Anyways my o5 wagon I changed clutch and the tob chirped forever , Now I have 09 outback , I get a clutch kit. And the throw out bearing is slightly loose , it’s 33.6 mm Id. The original is about 33.1. The shaft is 33mm Also looking at the tob the outer spinning part not concentric with the inner sliding sleeve . What’s the deal eh ? Just shitty parts ?
  2. Howdy y’all. Haven’t been around much. Been living in Europe for two years.currently living in Southampton uk. Two years ago I got a 08 outback with busted engine, I put my 2005 legacy engine in it. This spring while I was in the uk my car ended up crashed into a house .. Well that’s about all about subies. Otherwise I bought a sail boat and plan to sail around for a year or two .
  3. It’s easy to put a tcc overide but the tcm May freak out . And if you shift while TCC engaged its pretty rough !
  4. Currently no. As it doesn’t transmit a lot of torque to the front wheels it’s exactly like stock as the transfer clutches are behaving the same. You can notice a bit of bind up in stock form when you put in manual 1 and turn the wheel all the way hold brakes and give throttle. The inside rear wants to skid. The way it currently is ithe front wheels are strong enough to spin on gravel , the transfer clutches don’t seem to get full pump pressure ever so a spring change can send more torque to the front wheels. When it’s off and driving on snow or ice it’s quite hard to make a corner !
  5. i got the whole video on whats app group was a automatic silver legacy wagon
  6. plastic capped, the plastic often falls off and falls to the bottom but still runs fine mine has steel silent type and was brand new as the engine was just rebuilt after the crank shaft broke back in 2014
  7. well 2015 rebuilt my 76 k10 pickup, frame off restoration, got a 87 1 ton body , threw together a 383 stroker engine with vortec heads, megasquirt 5 speed nv4500, mid 2015 my g/f of 6 years left me , early 2016 i quit my engineering job, started a small excavation company. bought a 2 ton track hoe, made varous attachements for my bobcat . november 2017 i took a contract in the netherlands for a month, loved it there. met a german girl that has a farm and her father recently passed away. jan 2018 took on a full time job in the netherlands. and now in england, for a different company. and looking to moving onto a sail boat. and already have crazy ideas to frank n stien it !
  8. bought a triumph tiger 955 in germany i did 20 k km through europe last summer, down through portugal and spain and back.
  9. i tried 3 different ones ! arg . anyways i have moved on .. looking at a lagoon 380 catamaran in turkey tomorrow
  10. been a while .. is hicksta still around ? miss you guys !
  11. anyone else notice the mosque shooter in austrailia had a silver 4th gen wagon ..
  12. Hey guys been a while The buckaru still exists but life got in the way I sold it to a friend. The engine is fresh rebuilt. But I couldn’t get it started after putting the engine back in no crank signal I changed everything and even begin removing the Buick ignition module and direct wires the crank and cam signals to the megasquirt 3 and still wouldn’t work. But I didn’t spend more than a few hours on it since 2015 I’m currently living in Europe I have a tiger 955 I motorcycle and looking to live on a sail boat. I’m a mile from the Mediterranean at the moment.
  13. there is a filter in the pan also.. but it never needs to be changed .. unless your trans is burnt. then you need new trans and filter !
