  1. Spotted a silver 2005 LGT at Kingwood Health Center in Randolph, VT. Parked along the hill. I work there and have a 2015 WRB WRX.
  2. My buddy just bought a 1998 Outback with a blown DOHC EJ25D to swap in an engine and sell. He is going to swap in a low mileage EJ18. Besides the intake and the EGR, does anyone know of anything else that would need to be swapped over, I know this was an Impreza engine, but it is out of my realm of knowledge. Thanks, Steve
  3. Saw a blue 05-07 LGT sedan cruising behind me in traffic in Barre, VT. Looked like a CT plate, but at the very least it was a blue plate. I was in a Black wingless LGT Sedan.
  4. How's the EJ20 running? Still going good?
  5. Hey, glad to hear that you got it going!!! Could you post a how-to to show what you needed to do, as well as anything outside of a normal engine swap (I.e. what sensors needed to swap over, did you use the stock intake, what had to be removed) Thanks for doing the swap. Steve
  6. Though I agree with MrTris as far as reliability and ease of build, Deltaklop has an engine no one on here will want and has to use it, or eat the $2,000+ loss. I would at least attempt it before throwing away $2,000. Worst case scenario, he has to sell it anyway and try to build another engine. Just my $.02 Steve
  7. Here, check out this thread. If the blocks are all of EJ Design, then wiring harness and sensor swapping "should" work.
  8. Unless I'm mistaken, he could use the engine, just swap over intake, sensors, Turbo, Intercooler, AVCS and get a custom tune... Someone please chime in, as this is from reading all of the engine threads. Or, he could use the twinscroll setup if he has the JDM TMIC... Thanks, Steve
  9. Spotted a silver 4th gen LGT behind Lazer wash/Laundry place in Montpelier, VT. Very clean car. Wonder if it's the owner's?
  10. Saw a light blue 2005/06 LGT in the Rite Aid parking lot in Barre two or three days ago.
  11. Advance Auto Parts has started listing bypass pressure ratings in the technical specs. Just an FYI :-)
  12. Hundreds of WRX's everywhere here in VT, but only ever seen 3 or 4 LGT's in all of Central VT, and only 2 2005-2006 LGT's. However, I did spot and help out a OBXT owner. The manager of the local Pizza Hut in Berlin, VT. Hopefully she finds her way to the forums, she just paid $3000 on a turbo swap for another VF40. What's here can really help her.
  13. Do yourself a favor and at least check/change/remove the filter in the passenger side head Banjo bolt. If you got that code, it was for a reason and you could have very well gummed up that filter more when you attempted to clean the oil passages. All the sludge has to go somewhere, and that tiny filter will catch a lot/all of it. Otherwise, you could have a blown turbo shortly after.
  14. Wish there were more active members in the Central/Northern VT area.
