  5. So I just got off the phone with Brad from SOA and he wasn't aware of the issue yet. He said once I sell the car the new owner will register it and they will send him the packet. To have it fixed. Problem is he won't be able to register it in his name until it's smogged I believe. Wtf. Does any have a contact at SOA that actually knows about this issue Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. So did all of you call and create a ticket with SOA to get this resolved? I've been out of the game for a bit and must've missed this anyways I'm supposed to sell the car this week. And since I currently have it registered in AZ and there is no smog here. The guy that's buying it is from Ca and is going to have to smog it when he registers it here Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. Found out I accidently unsubscribed from this post. When I installed the Dp for the first time I did not have any issues whatsoever. That was with McDowell stg 2 tuned. No over boost issues then. After my engine rebuild and BNR 20G with ported wastegate. I was having over boost issues. But they were not related to the Downpipe at all. The issue with mine was the actuator arm after the wastgate was hitting the heat shield on top of the turbo. I was concerned about the wastegate not opening due to clearance with the DP but that was not the case, as I took off the down pipe and hooked up an air compressor to the wastgate and physically saw the flap stay closed but the whole heatshield shifted when the air was applied. I marked where it needed to be cut and removed about a 2-3 inch section from the heatshield. After I installed it again. My overboost issues were gone.... I have the Original design for the downpipe. Not the Group buy one. And I'm also at elevation. About 3500ft.
  8. So I'm at work today standing out by my car and a guy walks over and says man that sounds mean!! I said thank you. Then he asked are you from Barstow? I said yeah. and he says oh I've heard stories about this car! I've taken a few guys for rides in my car. They all come out with a huge grin on their face like holy sh!t !! I guess word has gotten out.
