finally! installed the mod - instructions were key! one thing i noticed tho.. i used forum member fee's setup - using the 2-1 usb charger and aux in. the sound is 'ok'.. i can't control the volume from my ipod and my music sounds like it's on max where it's clipping ever so slightly. could my set up be the problem? i tried changing the equalizer on my ipod to none and manually set my car's audio but not much has changed. regardless, thanks for the board redfloyd!!! :)

crap, they don't have the 0w40 i wanted at the store... gonna have to go with 5w30 for now. :-/

ok - just did my research on bob is the oil guy. i'm getting the 0-30 for winter, and 0-40 for summer. end of story. thanks everyone, i had to read that really informative report on bob is the oil guy first before i wrote anything else on the post.

alright, now this is getting a little confusing - my seller is telling me i should get the 10w30 for winter because he feels the 5 is too thin...

haha so 5w40 is the recommended over 5w30 probably right?

so... just a thought but, is there a reason why anyone would get the 5W30 vs 5W40? seems like it would make sense to go with the 5W40 to give that extra higher temperature range...

anyone try royal purple 5w30?

dang finally - i've been looking at jazzy mods, and dash kits, etc. etc. this is the best one. but... seeming that i'm electronically challenged... anyone in the NY area want to install this kit for me? of course labor fee is offered. PM me if interested!
